I was disapointed to get home with no Hyacinth bulb after buying a growing set (it's quite important!).
Mixed reviews about T.N.C. If I was on holiday here Id be different, but Im not. They are just a more expensive (generally) than similar places. But its fine, thats the market they are going for. Having said that, my bulb set was reasonable, if it was complete! I saw some Perlite for potting at £11, which is good.
The car park was quite full yesterday (cold November), so they are doing something right. The restuarant makes you have a roast as you walk through, smells lovely!
I go for the aquatics and some of the plants. Not overly big (aquatics), but they stock a good selection. Some good lower range tank sets currently. I bought a water feature reservoir, 50% off at £20.

One of my favourite garden centres in Norwich. It’s a bit of a drive for us but it’s always worth the trip as the quality and value of the plants is exceptional. There is a great range and really helpful staff who always go out of their way to help you. Highly recommend this over some of the other garden centres in the city.

Great Garden/Nursery centre with Aquatics centre, Animal feed shop, Farm shop, Cookware shop, Sewing shop and Caravan sales centre all on site. Main garden is full of everything you would expect and lovely produce.

On a big site along with shoe and craft shops and charity shops.
Garden centre is massive with good cafe at decent prices.
Whole site with free parking but retail places seem to shut quite early.

A large, well established garden centre with a huge range of plants, shrubs, gardening tools, sheds and composts, etc. There is also a small shopping area at the back, a local run fishing shop and a large pet centre. There is a separate aquatics shop within the main garden centre.
It's probably one of the largest garden centres in Norfolk.

I recently had my garden re landscaped. I contacted Taverham Garden Centre with some questions. Jon was very prompt in relying and not as very helpful
with the other questions I had. I visited the garden centre and met up with Andy he spent about an hour with me selecting plants and giving me lots of advice. He went ahead and ordered a topiary for me and contacted me, as he said he will do, to advise me when it was in. I also met up with Jon he helped me, with Andy, take everything to the cash point and even helped me load all the items into the car and providing black sacks so the dirt didn’t go over my car.
They are both an absolute credit to Taverham nursery as their customer care was absolutely spot on

Very large Garden Centre with lots of plants etc. The restaurant had good food, but the tables were made of wicker, and lots of food had gathered in the spaces, not very hygienic.

First time visiting today and wow oh wow will we be back!
Dog friendly around the whole of the garden centre.
Lots of beautiful stock and now getting the Christmas decorations in.
Cafe on site but did not visit.
Staff were very friendly.
A large garden centre with lots to see.
Wheelchair friendly.
Plenty of parking.
More shops around the garden centre too so can make a whole day out.

Lovely large garden centre, selling everything from plants to food, and ornaments to casual furniture. This time of year (November) there is also a wonderful display of Christmas items to see and buy. Dogs are welcome here!
There is a cafe within the centre, which I have visited twice now, but am unlikely to visit again as the savoury and sweet snacks that my friends and I have had with our hot drinks, have been dry and tasteless - we gave them the benefit of the doubt after the first visit, trying them once again, but our second visit was no better. It is, however, clean, and it's OK for a cuppa!
Outside the Nursery there are a number of independent shops, including a fishing shop, Pavers Shoes, a Sports shop, a very large craft shop selling material and all other craft hobby items, a cooking shop, a small unique gift shop, an exquisite (but expensive) unique handmade chocolates shop and a small grocer/farm shop.
Large, free (gravel) car park with other smaller parking areas on tarmac. Allow yourself plenty of time as there is s lot to see! Well worth a visit.
Highly recommended

I was at Taverham Centre yesterday to 'make a fairy garden' with my granddaughter. The children had a fantastic time. The event was well organised and the staff were so kind, helpful and encouraging towards the children. As a primary school teacher, I can say that the activity was well thought out and resourced and I would highly Commend the staff.
Thank you so much. 😊
