This is possibly the best cafe ever for cyclists. The food is amazing, the service is quick even when busy and the staff are fun and attentive. Definitely worth a visit

Vini is amazing, spoke to her about having their new van at our Football Festival she was patient with me as we was still finalising details. But booked us in, their van and services were amazing and I’ve had lots of comments about how nice the coffee was ☕️ Thank you Caffe Velo Verde for helping make the football festival a success not only for our players but also parents and the community! 🥓 Bacon perfection and excellet service 🥓 Popped in here for lunch on Sunday - as a family, we've been coming here for a year or two. The food here is the best version of each item. As a self-confessed bacon critic, the egg, sausage and bacon cobs are the best any of us have ever had - please never stop doing these! On Sunday, 3 of us had these (we'd been looking forward to them all week) and they didn't disappoint. My daughter had berry porridge, which she's still raving about ;-) I've worked my way through most of the menu here and everything is done perfectly. Every time. From the coffee to the American-style crispy bacon to the avo on sourdough and the upcycled decor. It's always a wholesome, refreshing treat. Also, the service is quick and fuss-free. A mention, too should go to the friendly waitress who brought our food, and some blankets as we were sat outside with our dog. She was so friendly, cheerful and professional - qualities that seem to be a little rare in hospitality - she had purple hair if that helps identify her :-)

Proper decent coffee and cake stop. Bike locks for piece of mind for your bike. Will be returning.

This was my first visit on a hot Sunday lunch. First impressions were of a well organised, friendly business. they have excellent systems in place for logging your visit and to enable you to order directly from your table. Really enjoyed my coffee and cake which was excellent value. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

One of our favourite places. We did not actually have anything to eat or drink today as they stop serving food at 3. However we go there often and we love this place. Afterwards we go visit the lovely goats and pigs and feed them some grass. Always a lovely visit.

First visit. Saw this on Amanda Owens farming lives, fairly near our caravan site, so thought would visit. Very nice, had bacon cobs & drinks. Visited many times now. Nice areas to walk in around the cafe.

Been visiting on and off over two years and have seen the cafe and surrounds develop and evolve. The units are now all occupied, businesses include a hairdresser, a beauty salon and kitchen design. What is ever present is the quality of the coffee - drinks as a whole to be fair - and the utter professionalism and friendliness of the people who work there. The staff were great pre-pandemic in 2019 and then stepped up a notch throughout the Winter 2020 lockdown, when outdoor cafes were allowed to open. Cafe Velo Vert was often our only bit of sunshine, as we determined to keep on riding our bikes despite wind and the cold temperatures. As health workers whose jobs have been monumentally difficult, it was a treat to have someone else make you a coffee and somewhere to go last winter! As the Great Re-Opening has virtually happened by now, this visit we were able to treat ourselves to a sit down at a table (no longer on the steps or the wooden garden surround) and so shared a Rocky Road. Massive slice for one as it happened, so happy to have shared! I usually have a hot chocolate with all the extras but this time chose an Earl Gray Blue (something) because I’d already decided I was having a cake! Himself had a Velo Vert Special Latte which I think involved darl chocolate sprinkles… Lovely setting with all the plants really starting to bed in - literally as there’s a metal bedstead as a climbing frame. AND, I’ve not even mentioned the nature walk, come here on a bike or not, it’s a supremely tranquil and vibrant little spot!
