Simply the best. Recently re-opened after refurbishment. New furnishings have really improved the restaurant. Nice and clean and fresh. Outstanding as always. Food is best curry house for miles. Been several times always excellent staff always go extra mile. Had take away delivered several times for those that moan get off your arse and fetch it..... you are expected to wait given the weekend.
I visited Akbar's over the weekend to celebrate a birthday with the family.
The entire management and staff went the extra mile to ensure that not only were our seating requirements met but the food was especially tailored to our unique and quite fussy requirements.

We love the Akbar, restaurants and take away. The service is always excellent, I usually have half a pint while waiting for a takeaway. The meal is always hot and always great value.
This restaurant went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our dining experience. The food was full of flavour and the service was very attentive. If you like Indian food then this is a must.

The proof of the curry is in the eating and I have been eating at the Akbar for at least fifteen years. You will sample a wide variety of dishes, from the very hot to the very mild.A prawn cocktail fit for a king. I have travelled far and wide and not found one better. The staff give a warm welcome
Not visited for some time so noticed there were some interior & menu updates which look great, but pleased to say the food was still delicious and served by friendly attentive staff.

Friendly staff beautiful food this has to be my favourite place to eat a curry. The staff are more than happy to discuss their food and will cook any curry on the menu to the strength of spice you want.

Great food as always , but disappointed on last order as delivery was very slow and found stray hair in food, have always used this restaurant and found it to be the best in stapleford , would have been five star but for the above on this occasion .
