I have had the pleasure of dining at Fothergills in Nottingham on several occasions and each visit has left me thoroughly satisfied. As a frequent patron, I must commend the establishment for consistently delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Service is top draw, very impressed. Food pricey for what it was, but guess your paying for what you get. Great location and service.
Really enjoyed the whole experience. We were greeted very warmly by caring staff and very helpful and good fun throughout the stay. Our thanks to the 3 ladies that attended to our needs. Excellent food and made more enjoyable by the brilliant staff. We would definitely visit again and would highly recommend Fothergills.
Fourth day in the UK (London, Bristol, Kings Lynn, Nottingham). This is the best meal and beer we’ve had. Chicken and smoked bacon pie and Fennel and Sage Risotto with a Cask All Seeing IPA. Nottingham Castle not open until June? So what! Skip everywhere else and get over here for lunch or dinner.
The Sunday roasts are to die for. Uo there with the best in Nottingham. Really friendly staff too. Was a pleasure to have lunch there today. Will be back next week 😊
Popped in for a roast dinner and good lord was it good. Had the roast chicken with all the trimmings washed down with some local beer. Staff went above and beyond - I’ve never seen service like it just outstanding
This place is an absolut gem! I was just visiting Nottingham on Monday with my mum and son and we went there after a bit of sightseeing. Such a cosy atmosphere....soft jazz in the background, rain outside ( guaranteed at this time of the year 😉), beautiful food worth every penny and friendly staff. Cannot recommend enough!
We had a great Sunday roast here at the weekend. We’re both vegetarians and the apricot and lentil nut roast was delicious - not the usual dried up slices that you often get as a veggie option. Good mixture of veg and plenty of gravy. Would definitely recommend if you are after a veggie Sunday roast in the city centre.
Compliments to the chef 👨🍳 the food here was absolutely divine 😋 ✨️ there was just a slight mixup on what we ordered but this was resolved within 1 minute it was actually amazing service from the restaurant and the staff were really nice and friendly 😀
if anyone does read this review you must come here soak up the view outside and inside paired with some cider or beer and just enjoy the mouthwatering godly food this place serves :D

Sunday roast beef £18 - Everything was great except, ironically, the beef, which was tough, overcooked, and lacking flavor. Aside from that, I was very impressed by everything else: the yorkshire pudding, mash, roasted potatoes, perfectly cooked and seasoned vegetables, pickled cabbage, and gravy
