The Larder On Goosegate - Nottingham - Photo album

A really nice meal which we both enjoyed. Having over indulged over the Christmas period we fancied yet another lunch and were very pleasantly surprised by our meal at The Larder. I had the salmon as my starter and it was a perfect light introduction to my meal. My partner had the aubergine which h
Went on a Friday evening without booking but luckily got a table! Food was really good although a little pricy but it did worth the price! Can also go with the fixed price menu which is really good value! Passion fruit cheese cake was so delicious! Definitely recommend!
Wonderful atmosphere and lovely staff. The food was delicious and served beautifully. Mentioned in the Michelin Guide 2017 for a reason! Just make sure you book in advance.
Went for 3 courses for a birthday meal and can’t fault it. Lovely food and good service.
Very good food. The braised beef was very tender. Risotto very juicy. The staff was friendly & welcoming. A must try if your in Nottingham.
A fabulous little independent restaurant that has a relaxed atmosphere in a formal, fine dining setting without feeling too fancy or overly haute cuisine. The focus is on the taste of the food, which has always been exceptional. Often local produce with high quality ingredients. The staff have al
Lovely food, good service
Took my wife last Wednesday had a fantastic 2 course set meal great value for quality food that was served. The waitress was brilliant made the evening very memorable. Top marks to the chefs too food was delicious.
Fantastic service and the meal top notch!
I really loved this place. It exists in the building where the first boots (the pharmacist) was opened which I really liked. The food was also amazing. I had the beetroot cheesecake as a starter, the gnocchi as a main and the chocolate mousse for dessert. I especially liked the gnocchi, I thought th
Lovely seasonal menu that isn't overbearing with too much choice. Food is delicious and well presented. Its a bit of a hidden gem, tasteful decor in a wonderful historic building. Good value for money for a meal of that quality, one of my favourite restaurants in Nottingham.
Another superb meal in a lovely building. The quality and flavour of the food are perfect and the steak is a definite favourite of mine. Thank you so much Rachel and team and we hope to see you again very soon.
An excellent evening for a rather decadent dinner! Lots of delicious food in fairly generous portions, and some good vegetarian options if you're that way inclined. 9/10 would recommend, great for the price if you're willing to part with the cash.
Excellent food & service. Was made to feel welcome from going in to going out. All 8 at the table remarked how good it was. As i personally don't drink alcohol i would have liked a non alcoholic lager or beer to have, with the excellent food.
This a great restaurant for many reasons; British contemporary food that attempts to make things new but also not over developed. a great space in a historic part of town and friendly staff. If there's anything wrong I would say it is some of the chairs/tables. You simply cannot eat comfortably when
We had a family meal for my husband's 70th. We were a party of 11, 5 of which were children. They did not have a children's menu but were happy to cater fir what they liked. The service was very good and we will diffinately think about using them again.
Excellent, this is my new favourite restaurant, my daughter bought my wife and I a voucher after it was recommended to her, i had mackerel, followed by lamb and chocolate delice, my wife had squid (the best we'd both ever had,) I can't remember what else she had cos' i was enjoying mine so much.
