Thought we would give it a try and turned out it was there first night of reopening. Excellent food and quick service considering it was packed. Servers could be more knowledgeable but hey it was first night. Great atmosphere will definitely be back. Beer gardens and play area look great for summer
Called in for lunch on Thursday. Was aware there were new owners so thought we'd give it a try. We weren't disappointed. The food was excellent and so was the friendly service. I loved the menu which had just enough choice. I had the liver which was delicious and my wife tried the hot beef crusty ci
My partner and I decided to pop in for a date night on the recommendation from a couple.of friends. The place has a lovely cosy welcoming ambience and we were greeted warmly by the staff on arrival. We were shown to our table and our drinks order was taken straight away.we opted for a starter each a
Went out for a meal and my first visit. Ample free parking and a great garden to sit in with lots of space and play area for kids. Sun was out all evening which was nice. Visited on a Tuesday steak night which was great value. I had a mixed grill and prawns to start. Service and food were excellent.
Came in with 3 others, ordered 3 lamb dinners and a lamb and pork roast. Food was brought out and to my pleasant surprise, our 3 lamb dinners had the extra of an assortment of meat; however, we just ordered lamb. The food was amazing, but the one thing that let it down was staff on their phones cons
Nice cool place. Relax and eat.reasonable price . Children play area.
Me and my family had Sunday lunch on the 28/5/23 and would like to say a massive thank you to the fantastic staff that went the extra mile for us. My nearly 8 week old baby woke up for his feed as the dinners arrived and the lovely waitress without being asked offered to put my food under the warmer
Went as was in area visiting family....heard good things from reviews from brother in law....had the jurassic steak....was really good...but more on well done side than medium as requested but to be honest ...was dam tasty...was accommodated by staff from miscommunication regarding the menu ....Will
Lovely staff, be even better when they find a new chef will be back for food then
We visited for the first time for a superb Sunday roast lunch and left feeling totally satisfied. The serving was more than adequate with an array of vegetables presented in a separate bowl so you could top if required. The Light Brigade beer was excellent, as was the service provided by the mainly
Went for a Sunday Roast & was really impressed with the quality of the food & the portions.
Set in idyllic surrounds and with a great style and decor inside, this pub has all the makings of a great place to be. Then the food comes out of the kitchen and we were not disappointed. Staff service was good. Attentive but not interfering.
The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend them.
Has a steak meal and could not fault it. The steak was perfect and the chips were good. Stilton sauce tasty but a little thin. Only one thing a large glass of wine was too expensive over £8.50. lovely meal and place.but a little put off with the drink prices.
Set in a lovely landscape this tradition country pub is most welcoming. Food and service are both excellent. One downside, however, is the lack of wheelchair/ ramp access to the main entrance, it is said that a slope access/egress is available to the side/rear of the premises but this is not obvious
