really nice place a complete transformation of the venue.. love the vibe and atmosphere nice chilled and mellow feeling... staff really friendly and the food was really good hats off to the chef and kitchen team will Deffo be back
Went for lunch , I had crispy halloumi & guacamole burger Craig had stone baked artisan hot & spicy pepperoni & chill pizza, both were delicious, fantastic service, will definitely be back, thank you .
Nice friendly staff. Made a nice cocktail. Cheap at £6.50 compared to the pitcher and piano opposite at £10.50.played lots of soul, reggae and ska. Clean and tidy pub

Four of us visited for the first time yesterday at lunchtime. Great place! Friendly staff, good choice of beers, real ales and craft. Food superb and an extensive choice. Make the effort to go here. It's 5 minutes from the city centre. It was very quiet but I am sure it will get more customers in when the word spreads. Much better than many of the longer established bar/restaurants in the area. We will definitely return.
I went here wife my wife the day after opening, it was a very busy Friday evening and although I don't normally like overly busy or crowded places I still enjoyed myself here alot.
The selection of drinks is suitably vast and would cater for most tastes weather people prefer beer, craft beer, ales, cider, cocktails, wines, or spirits. This place caters extensively for all.
The staff were friendly and very welcoming, and helped my wife and I to a table while our cocktail was being made so we didn't have to wait at the bar.
I'd highly recommend visiting here, and I myself can't wait to come back.
Thoroughly decent selection of booze here, decent and varied tunes, pretty relaxed and friendly. Staff know their business as well, which is good in a place with so much craft beer. Cocktails ain't bad either, not that you're really here for that.
A very welcome and well placed real ale pub in the trendy Lace Market area. Good range of beers and my companions and I really enjoyed the food, good little menu. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Worth visiting M
Very good selection of beers. Around six cask ales and a good ten or fifteen craft. Nice setting. Enjoy sitting in the window watching people get refused entry to Pitcher & Piano.
Went in for a few drinks and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the place was! The staff were friendly and inviting, despite being close to last orders, and it added to the old fashioned style of the place.

My family and I visited this pub for the first time on Wednesday. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was fantastic. All three meals were good portions. Will be definitely going back again.
Really good range of drinks, wide selection and choice. Good range of food. Very good service, served very promptly. Nice hot and tasty food, and generous portions. Very impressed. Well done head of steam!
