An evening meal with the family. Fantastic place with great food and service.
The pictures are the lasagne with a side of chips, and the dessert is the treacle sponge with custard. We ate from the set menu, so we had the two course choices. It's really well priced. I loved the fact that in parts of the pub, they had the open fires going. Friendly and helpful staff.
The pub has a large car park, on the main road for easy access by public transport.
Plenty of outdoor seating.
The decor is excellent and the toilets are also well maintained.
We had drinks and also ordered food via the Ember app, which took 55 mins to arrive which we were a little disappointed about, we asked how long the food would be after 45mins to be advise it had been forgotten! Which was strange.
When it did arrive, the quality was good and we enjoyed the meal.
I have only given 4* based on the waiting time.

After my first visit a few months ago i must say we have visited The Cadland several times since and had no complaints. The staff are very friendly and give great service, the food has been fantastic and fresh. I now highly recommend this establishment
We had roast beef so many times , we came back again. Delicious! Tasty!
The chicken wing starter is to die for and I had the Mac n Cheese. There were 5 of us in our party and we all loved the food. The staff are lovely and friendly and make you feel very welcome.
The Cadland is really popular with locals, and it's easy to see why. Chilled atmosphere and great food at good prices. I had the gammon and eggs, and the gammon had a wonderful flavour cooked on the grill. My partner had the posh fish and chips - the sea bass was cooked to perfection, though he could have done with more chips to balance out the fish to chips ratio. We've been a few times and will be back again.
Six of us went one evening and we all had a good night. I had Chicken Wings and Ribs, it was lovely. Nice and hot and not too long to wait. I suppose it would depend on what time you went though.
Great place for food especially breakfast. Very friendly welcome. I highly recommend the place.And the lovely Abbie welcomes us every Saturday morning for breakfast.
Great drinks and food, staff always welcoming and friendly had a lovely meal there today.
We had the best experience here in a long time. Plenty of efficient staff. Well cooked hot food and very nicely presented. The young staff members were very well trained and it was a pleasure to be served by them.
Food was amazing, really enjoyed every dish we had, especially the battered mushrooms and Southern fired chicken burger. Would recommend, staff really friendly
