I can’t recommend this place enough. Good coffee, great grilled cheese, and tasty sweet treats. What makes this place so special is that the staff are all fantastic. Dee has done so well at creating a lovely place that is great to hang out with friends and catch up over good food/drinks.
The best independent coffee shop in Nottingham. Bright, spacious, airy. Coffee is home roasted-best I've had and staff are utterly delightful. Food amazing as well. Well worth a visit.
Amazing coffee, great food made in house, and the nicest staff. The vibes are good all round and the experience is exactly what you want from somewhere to hang out or somewhere to work. Disabled access is great and the staff are great about it. Queer haven
Visited blend for some breakfast while shopping at Sneinton Market avenues, and it didn’t disappoint.
Ordered coffees and we both had the classic cheese toasty which is cheese and mustard. We also order a cake which was a cross between a cupcake and croissant. Coffees were nice, toasty was amazing but very filling, we could have shared one really. Cake was nice but very sugary.
Service was prompt and friendly, it was too expensive either, lots of seating inside and tables outside too.
Would definitely visit again and try a different toasty. Highly recommended.
Visited here a few times now and it’s lovely, the building is painted with very bright colours and filled with light as majority of the walls are windows. It has very nice vibe and the coffee tastes amazing.
Whoa—we happened to be round the corner so thought we'd pop in to try Blend and I can confidently say we had the BEST coffee around (from Stewart's next door). The grilled cheeses were out of this world, too! What a neat place—an open, airy space with natural light just pouring in over comfy seating, lively greenery, colourful décor, and even a welcoming workbench area (for more productive visitors!) Clean, casual, fun, and friendly with sprawling outdoor seating just outside—the perfect spot to pop in and take away or sit and stay a while. Coffee and reusable cups available to buy as well—the coffee prices are competitive with the likes of Lavazza, so absolutely no reason not to get your hands on these incredible locally roasted beans to enjoy at home! Full marks all round—we'll definitely be back x x
Update: this is our default grub when we're on this side of town. They change the menu often and we've tried several more of their delicious creations. The service and food is consistently top-notch and staff are happy to grind any beans you buy to takeaway. Really glad to see other locations around the city (although this is the only spot they do a full hot breakfast / brunch / grilled cheese menu). No complaints—highly recommend!
If you like a cheese toastie, then look no further. OUT OF THIS WORLD flavour. Top notch coffee too. Well worth a visit!
By far my favorite coffee shop to work from in all the cities I have visited. It is spacious, with ample natural light, very friendly staff with awesome coffee. It was my regular place tonwork from while I was in Nottingham. Highly recommend the place.
I've been home roasting coffee for over 10 years and have owned quite a few pro level grinders and prosumer level espresso machines. I rarely buy coffee out because I am so often dissapointed. Not so at Blend, blown away by both the beans and the latte art. I will return.
Great cafe serving great range of food. I'd expected the usual, typical breakfast range and was initially a little disappointed - despite having vegetarian, vegan, meat and gluten-free options, there was not a single egg on the menu. I shouldn't have been concerned, the "Brisket at Tiffany's" (lamb and cheese toastie) was delicious and the coffee was very good. I got a salted chocolate brownie to go and that was also lovely. Great place to drop by, recommended.
A good and relaxing cafe. Staff members are kind and helpful. I ordered a special toast, Mt. Funghi (with mushrooms, cheese and pak choi) that came with a ginger and spring onion dip, together with a cold latte. Very nice and tasty.
I love this cafe. Best grilled cheese in Nottingham. They are pricey, but you get what you pay for 100%. I sometimes treat myself after a steam room session at the Victoria leisure centre. It helps having it so close 🤭 it’s very busy during the weekend though and queues can get long in a matter of seconds… food can take a while, but worth waiting.
