Online ordering is slow and easy to miss something with large groups, struggled to chew the cabbage! Ordered the cake and coffee and got no coffee, more gravy please, service was excellent, food all on time, all food cooked well and very good

What a cracking pub! I've driven past this place for many years and always thought about visiting. Having now done so, I wish I'd done it sooner!

It was easy to book online, and I appreciated the space to make special requests. I used this to ask for a table suitable for someone with mobility issues. When we arrived, we had been provided with a table where we didn't have to encounter any steps, and we were close by to the disabled toilet facilities if needed. We had a table near a lovely roaring open fire. All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The Sunday lunch set menu was a really good deal, with most of us taking advantage of the 3 course meal. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We are really pleased to have found this great pub/restaurant close to where our in-laws live. We will definitely return again when up visiting in the future.
