Went as a party of 10 last minute for a meal and drinks. The Service was outstanding, Rebeca was brilliant, making sure we had everything we needed. She didn’t stop for a minute and it was genuine that nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent with good Presentation and taste. Lovely atmospheres, even had a few games of pool to finish.
Would Highly recommend, and will most definitely be returning for food, drinks and socialising.

Passed this place so many times never been in. Well shame on me! Last minute birthday meal on a back holiday for ten people. Under staffed. But gave us the heads up so our choice. Yes some things could of been a little better but under the circumstances couldn't fault them. Becca was none stop sorting everything
Have an 18th birthday meal to sort in June for a large family. Hope you're ready for the mid-week dinners as we will be back!

Great pub just out of the city centre. Hearty pub grub. Had work in the area so took the camper van overnight there, safe large car park, doggo friendly, helpful and friendly staff. Nothing to complain about 👍

Once again, very friendly staff. Happy to accept us, our dog and our motorhome. Always feel welcome here. They even have a treat station for the dog and are very happy to supply bowls of water. Can’t fault it. Yet again the starting gate comes up trumps.

Spent several nights here overnight in our campervan & honestly the staff are so friendly. They couldn’t do anything more for you. The parking is free of charge, but we went in every night for a drink and maybe a bite to eat and it’s just overall a really enjoyable place, jukebox and pool is free on a Tuesday. Thank you so much for your hospitality. ✌️Definitely recommend to anyone of you with a Motorhome or just if you fancy a few drinks. Can’t go wrong in here guys. Smashed it 😃

Lacks curb appeal but has plenty of free parking, good service and some great quality food offers. Has music playing fairly loud so if that's not your scene then go elsewhere. Try Thursdays for the 2 for 1 burger deals - fantastic value, quality and a fraction of the cost of other pubs in the area. Recommended.

We stopped here for the night with our motorhome after reading a few reviews, and they were all correct on the premises and hospitality (great staff). The best part is the menu, they a variety of daily specials. We decided to go with 2 mains for £11.49 and they were a great choice, both meals were cooked to perfection. The best way to put a review is, if we were in the area would we come back and from us both it is a loud YES.

Spent a really nice Friday evening here, friendly service, good choice of good value food, and very doggy friendly.
Was able to sleep in our camper van in the carpark, which was quiet & felt safe. 5* will definitely come again

I have been here several times now mainly on a Monday night as I work in Nottingham on a late shift. I come here for the amazingly good food and good company of the staff who are all very friendly and helpful. I sleep over in my camper van on the car park and have had many good nights sleep while here. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a one night stop over.
