I've been here with people and always enjoyed visiting. Today, I was out with our dog and had forgotten to bring water so we stopped here. They took such good care of us, getting water for Marley and giving him a treat. I enjoyed my glass of Lilleys (would have been rude not to buy a drink 😉). We'll definitely be back.
Ordered from the lunch menu, a sort of meal deal, requested rosemary fries but the ones that arrived didn't appear to be rosemary. However my steak panini was delicious and overall I was happy. Rose wine was awful but I believe that was my taste buds as I've not drank it in a while so wouldn't complain.
Didn't eat myself, friend I was with recommended, and his roast looked excellent... Watched Chelsea v Liverpool League Cup Final, excellent atmosphere, TVs to watch said footy on are everywhere, even outside... Great service at the bar also... Poor choice of on tap Cider though..., not enough to not give 5 star though
