Regularly visit Via Fossa with friends and family due to its great food! Tried out a new summer item on the menu on the last visit the open camembert and prosciutto sandwich which was delicious and of course had to have some of their fantastic chips
Been here a few times now and the food is amazing and so are the staff. The pub has a large seating area at the rear which looks onto the canal which is great to sit by and have a drink on a hot summers day. With it being Greene King too there is the option to order food and drinks from the table via the app.
Would like to thank Sarah and Anneise for their excellent customer service and hard work, on Saturday for Wendy’s 60th Birthday. The Food was excellent, nothing was to much trouble, and the Table had such a personal touch with name cards etc , that was a lovely surprise.
Will definitely be returning to this wonderful and well run place.
Greeted nicely by great bar staff! Nothing was any trouble! Quiet rainy Monday daytime in for late lunch! Quiet so no atmosphere lol 😂 but the staff made it! Service with a smile lovely chatty people would come again
Been here a few times now, the first couple experiences were amazing. Food was wonderful and staff very attentive and nice. The last time I came the food was not the best (I had fish and chips) and the service was very slow. But my boyfriend got a pie and absolutely loved it. Its very nice decorated and really cute!
Brilliant food, atmosphere, service and drinks here. Really friendly, lovely surroundings and a great place to watch the football/post work pint.

Visiting this place with my friend we were clueless as to how, beyond the great food, how catering, funny and kind the service would be. We were served by a wonderful waitress, Paige, who communicated very friendly and kindly to us in an efficient manner and served our food with upstanding professionalism. Thank you!
My band played here, we had a great time and were of course amazing. Great sound, friendly atmosphere and the canal literally on the doorstep for all your swan/goose needs.
Visited a few days ago with friends for lunch. Food was fantastic and the staff were very polite, friendly and attentive! The little dish offers are a must try.
Myself and my partner popped in this afternoon with our dog, the staff members were very welcoming. Tristan was the barman that served us, he was very friendly and went out of his way to offer a bowl and water for our dog. Kerry was another member of staff that was very welcoming and friendly, it was a pleasure to chat with her. As we were leaving all members of staff on shift thanked us for our custom, the other member of staff being Tom I do believe. Every single one of them was very attentive. We will certainly recommend the place and wil definitely return.
