Beautiful place for a family walk with a visitor centre and a cafe if you need a little coffee break. fantastic place for bird watchers or photographers trying to capture nature. Car park is usually very busy.
I have enjoyed walking, running, cycling, and taking photographs of this stunningly beautiful place for over 60 years. The improvements to the footpaths over the years, along with the addition of the visitor's centre and new wildlife habitats, have made it my favourite place to visit in Nottingham. We are so blessed to have such a haven of peace, tranquility, and abundant wildlife to enjoy.
Incredible place. I took a walk here from West Bridgford along the Trent via Beeston, which is lovely treck too. Attenborough Nature Reserve is one of those places I feel very blessed to have on my doorstep. You can really make a full day out of visiting here. There's a great visitors centre with a shop and cafe, also some well maintained toilets. There's a lovely balcony and a back garden where you can enjoy your drink and food while taking in the amazing views. If you live locally and still haven't been here, you need to rectify that ASAP. But please be respectful of nature and dispose of your rubbish responsibly. It would be such a shame to see this amazing place ruined by people who don't respect nature.
