Nice cafe! A little slow if it’s busy but worth the wait and great view outside on the little terrace. Has local Beeston brownies, coffee, tea, bacon cobs and vegeterian sausage sandwich etc
Interesting location to see how former industrial areas can be transformed for wildlife. Good cafe on site serving a range of food and drink. The site is well furnished with paths and only a short distance from the local train station.
A very large reserve with ample car parking. Fabulous cafe with really great food. Ideal for visiting in poor weather as there are good paths, and also accessible for wheelchair users. The reserve is scenic and beautiful and there are a great array of species to see. The birds actually come right d
Fabulous wetlands centre! Lovely walks alongside the water and the centre serves excellent coffee 👍
Had a couple of hours there, had a snack in the cafe (a bit expensive) . The hides needed a code to enter which you scanned with your phone and filled all your details in. Car park costs £3 for the day.
Bike ride on a Sunday morning beautiful place to walk/ride/run.unbeleivable wild life and kitted out for it.
Lovely place to walk miles along the river Trent.
Great place. Lots of interesting and varying species to photograph (and sometimes to interact with). Wish the car parking was free but I guess they have to pay their bills. Not much vegan stuff but at least they don't charge extra for non dairy milk.
Always like Attenborough - but it January ..... Grey cold and wet.....!!! Would be nice if the sun came out......!!!! It's a beautiful place to come for a walk in summer, and see all the wildlife , and grab a cup of coffee at the visitor cafe/ centre..
Great place to walk or bike ride. The surroundings are beautiful and you can walk for hours without realising. The tourist centre is great for kids and you can buy food for the wildlife. It also has a lovely cafe with an amazing over the water balcony where you can sit and feed up after a beautiful
I have been coming to this nature reserve for years and it keeps on improving. Staff is always friendly and helpful, car parking charge is simply a way of donating to the community, so we get to see more and more birds & other wildlife every year. They also serve wonderful scones😉 And have lots of e
Perfect place to observe birds life (don't forget your camera with a proper lens). Nice place to visit with kids and dogs. Dogs are not allowed to the cafe though. Some paths are accessible for wheelchairs and convenient for walkers with prams. No free parking
Nice place for a walk or a run. The lake is very big. Not many places to set next to the lake if the centre is closed. Parking free for 30 minutes. Toilets were dirty but they supposed to be closed when centre is closed.
The scenery was amazing around the centre, there is a very nice gift shop with items for all ages. There’s a surprisingly large range of food and drinks. The 2 times I’ve been, the food is lovely. Staff also great. Highly recommend
With a wonderful opportunity to see Britain's water habitat birds in their natural environment Attenborough Nature Reserve is brilliant. Walks through the area are well set out and managed. Seating is provided along the trails and you do not need to wander too far from the carpark to be in the pea
Wow what a walk, took all the paths and took 5 hours with a few short snack breaks. Loved the walk, really interesting and nice people. Be warned it can get busy but there is lots of room.
Nice walks with nice scenery and wildlife. The walks are all different and take different lengths of time but be aware of the growing number of cyclists. There is a wildlife centre and gift shop in the nature reserve where you can have a coffee and a bite to eat, overlooking the water. Well worth a
