Food was absolutely lush. Proper pub food. Lovely thick bit of gammon with homemade chips and juicy pineapple. Really was yummy!

We went to their French Food tasting evening and it was very enjoyable.

Despite living in Cotgrave I haven’t been to the manvers for a long time due to bad experiences with the food served by the previous owners.
So pleased we went today as completely different experience.
Food was excellent we had the toasties 2 for a tenner, and they were superb.
Service was spot on aswell so definitely will be back and can highly recommend.

We booked a table last Thursday for 8 of us to celebrate my Mums life and we were given the best service you could wish for. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff joined in with our terrible sense of humour. Food was delicious and we kept ordering little bits over 4/5 hours we were there and the kitchen kept on producing without a moan. Drinks flowed effortlessly so I want to just say thank you for hosting the perfect evening.

Enjoyed a fantastic afternoon watching England thrash the Taff's at rugby. Great atmosphere and chip butties were a welcome treat from our generous landlady at half time. (Thanks a bunch Karen).

I really like this place. It's just hearty and wholesome food, no frills, no farty nonsense. Just good scran. The staff are consistently friendly and clearly know what they're doing. The atmosphere is a little bit like being in your aunt's house, a chill vibe. I went out for a vape and the waitress came out to me to tell me my food was on the table. Love that. There was three of us, we all had a main meal, shared two desserts between us, had a drink each and a coffee each = £50! Tidy!
