Lovely freindly staff. This place is clearly run with passion from the heart. Relaxed calm but friendly atmosphere. Beautifully adorned surroundings. Fresh, organic , home made tasty food. There's nothing to dislike and everything to love here. And given its a book/gift shop its quite unique. Couldn't recommend more!

A gem of a place with an abundance of endless books and gifts of excellent quality . Such a joy to enter an independent shop in this day and age and needs to be used so we don't lose it . Extremely friendly helpful staff give you a lovely welcome ( it was our first visit ) . It's the sort of place where , especially if you're local , it could easily become your ' Hub ' . It just has that feel to it . An hour or so in the delightful tearooms with it's beautiful China tea services and white linen table cloths , could easily give you the impression you will be paying an arm and a leg for this privilege! . But you don't. The prices are very modest and fair compared to most tearooms indeed . My wife and I enjoyed the most delicious , generously filled ham and cheese toastie with a fresh side salad for £5.95 each and the ham was thick cut ' farmhouse ' stuff too ! . On a warm day , you would find it hard to upseat yourself from the cottage style garden area with it's eye-catching stonework surprises . Get yourself over there and be delighted , like we were ( and will be again , real soon ! ) .

It's good that this place stayed open during the extremely harmful lockdowns. Lock downs are meant only for convicted criminals in prison. Jesus Himself was a travelling preacher, who regularly mixed with sinners and the 'unclean,' so He clearly would have been very against the, (obviously false) mainstream Corona narrative.

My friend Claire and I met Chris today.......she is very kind, friendly and approachable aswell as being a great Baker!! The effort that goes into the mustard seed is massive, fresh homade cakes, quiche and pasta dishes. Proper capuccino machine. Beautiful garden.Stunning book shop.Beautiful cards and gifts. On top of that she has time for you. Amazing women. Some of the reviews I think are unfair and unkind. Give the place a go, it's lovely.

Great little garden and friendly staff. The garden is really lovely and there's a few tables on the lawn, which makes it a nice place for afternoon tea. There's a good range of home baked cakes and slices each day. Food is generally good without being spectacular and sometimes service could use a bit more haste but other than that, a pleasant place to spend some quality down time.

I can highly recommend this beautiful café and bookstore. A little gem. So thankful it stayed open during lockdown. Five stars all the way!

Beautiful bookshop and cafe. Lots of books and gifts to choose from. The owner, Chris, is a true follower of Jesus and it's so encouraging talking to her about faith.

The Mustard Seed cafe and Christian book shop is a true beacon of light in this dark fallen world in which we live. The cafe is of the more traditional type with a great selection of very tasty food and drink a lot of which is homemade. There is a truly excellent selection of books along with many other interesting items in the shop. The style of service is relaxed so be prepared for that. They know that there is no reason for us to be scared of each other so there is no antisocial regulations in force here. There is a very friendly and social atmosphere which has led me along with family and friends to become regular customers in recent months and we have met some truly wonderful people. The owner Chris is an inspiration and true warrior of God. Highlighted by her ongoing stand against the tyranny that has been unleashed on the world over the last year. If you have not yet begun to realise the current world situation is not even remotely like what is being presented to you by the mainstream media then do be prepared for Chris and Co to potentially talk to you about it. Chris is a straight talker but you are genuinely only getting the truth from her which can sometimes be hard to hear for any of us! Please don't be offended or put off, listen to and seriously consider what they have to say. This may well lead to a much brighter future for you and your family. Highly recommended! God bless you all!
