After recently moving to the area decided to try take out Cod and chips. My goodness, the fish was huge and great quality, as were the portion of chips (next time I'll order the small chips). They do kebabs too, so if they are half as good as the fish and chips this place will become a regular.
The best chip shop ever, you want traditional here it's, you want good customer service it's here, you want caring funny Delivrey service it's here, do you want your food hot and your food cooked proper then look no further as this place tops as the best chippy in Nottingham it has it all don't believe me find out for your self by ordering this delightful food

Had chips here a few times whilst passing. The chips are well made and there is a good selection of chips with what you want. I've only had the chips. I did like the little basket of unusual spices to waff onto your chips not just salt and vinegar. The staff were great as well, the food was cooked well, my friends loved it. We lent on a narrow shelf to eat our chips then wandered down the road. A busy chip shop for the delivery guys picking up orders, I suppose people do this nowadays. Parking is on the road but, you might struggle to get right outside at times. Expect Westbridgford prices, but still affordable enjoyable meals here. The staff will come out and serve you if you struggle to get in, that's very kind and thoughtful, bit of a step.
Absolutely love this place. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and great value. Never seen so many things on a chip shop menu,spoilt for choice. Try it and see for yourself. If you do you won't be disappointed

This place is the NUTTS! I’ve been coming here years. We did the “chip shop challenge” with cub scouts a while back and this place won hands down vs. other local chippies. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed 😋👏🏻

Decided to go for fish and chips, and thought I’d try somewhere different to my usual chippy. Sounds daft but they tasted really healthy, they weren’t swimming in grease and the fish batter was really tasty with a good crisp bite. The fish itself was really firm and meaty and tasted like a really good piece of fish. The chips were really tasty and you could tell they were not made from old potato’s. They were firm on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The staff were friendly and polite, and the food was very reasonably priced, especially when the quality was so good. Definitely my new chippy when I fancy a treat
The first time I came here was the other day with my son and mother. All I can say about the kebab is WOW! The chicken is seasoned to absolute perfection and they are certainly not stingy with the meat! Best kebab I have had by far! My little boy had cheesy chips, again the portion size was huge! My mum had fish and chips with curry sauce, she said it was gorgeous and would definitely return! All staff were chatty and welcoming … will definitely be returning!! Highly recommend the chicken kebab!!
We have a coeliac family member of our family, and this chippy has a great range of gluten-free items and chips. Even the vinegar! The staff are very helpful and always willing to advise.

I went to this chippy for the first time today, and I was met with good customer service from the staff. They was very friendly and polite. I ordered a chicken burger and chips and I would recommend it.
I would also like to add, an elderly lady had come into the chippy, placed her order and when it was time for her to go. One of the staff had helped her out the shop and also supported her in crossing the road, which I thought was very kind and thoughtful.
