After recently moving to the area decided to try take out Cod and chips. My goodness, the fish was huge and great quality, as were the portion of chips (next time I'll order the small chips). They do kebabs too, so if they are half as good as the fish and chips this place will become a regular.

Decided to go for fish and chips, and thought I’d try somewhere different to my usual chippy. Sounds daft but they tasted really healthy, they weren’t swimming in grease and the fish batter was really tasty with a good crisp bite. The fish itself was really firm and meaty and tasted like a really good piece of fish. The chips were really tasty and you could tell they were not made from old potato’s. They were firm on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The staff were friendly and polite, and the food was very reasonably priced, especially when the quality was so good. Definitely my new chippy when I fancy a treat
This place is the NUTTS! I’ve been coming here years. We did the “chip shop challenge” with cub scouts a while back and this place won hands down vs. other local chippies. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed 😋👏🏻
We have a coeliac family member of our family, and this chippy has a great range of gluten-free items and chips. Even the vinegar! The staff are very helpful and always willing to advise.
I went to this chippy for the first time today, and I was met with good customer service from the staff. They was very friendly and polite. I ordered a chicken burger and chips and I would recommend it.
I would also like to add, an elderly lady had come into the chippy, placed her order and when it was time for her to go. One of the staff had helped her out the shop and also supported her in crossing the road, which I thought was very kind and thoughtful.
Donner Kebab! Meat was thick cut and tasty! Salad was fresh (would like to see red cabbage in the salad next time) The naan was crispy on the outside and doughy inside, yum! Only moan is that the meat wasn’t very hot. Good value for money. Will use again and would recommend to others. Filled our bellies nicely thank you.
The first time I came here was the other day with my son and mother. All I can say about the kebab is WOW! The chicken is seasoned to absolute perfection and they are certainly not stingy with the meat! Best kebab I have had by far! My little boy had cheesy chips, again the portion size was huge! My mum had fish and chips with curry sauce, she said it was gorgeous and would definitely return! All staff were chatty and welcoming … will definitely be returning!! Highly recommend the chicken kebab!!

Fish was fresh ans tasty but a bit pricey at £8.50 ,chips nice and plentiful, only criticism would be the batter, chewy and not cooked inside. If they get batter light and crispy will be excellent

Really friendly welcome from New owner (who is really making an effort to breathe some new life into the place and it does show ) ordered the fish which was cooked to perfection for me with some side salad which was nice and fresh .prce is very resonble too esp with the quality of ingredients..... I would highly recommend you try this place you really won't be disappointed
