Staff are respectful and efficient while serving. Also respond to you're requests immediately and enjoy friendly banter. It has a welcoming feel as soon as you walk in the door. Staff always acknowledge you presence and as with all freshly prepared food they let you know appropriately how long it will take. No one minds waiting for delicious fish and chips

Visiting Gedling on a long awaited nostalgia trip, my wife and I decided on fish and chips from the Plaice. We had two medium fish, two portions of chips and peas and failed to eat it all because portions are so generous. We thought that these were the best fish and chips we have ever eaten, either from a chippy or pub or restaurant. It was perfect. The staff were friendly and the whole experience was excellent.
