What a great place Code34 in Nottingham is!! Dave is awesome, makes the best cocktails outside London/Manchester!! Should be surfing in Cali though...The owner is lovely, the atmosphere is great too, great music!!

Over the summer we held a 50th birthday party at Code 34, and took over the entire venue. We were a bit last minute with deciding on a party and spoke to a couple of venues, but once we chatted with Code 34, we decided instantly. They were absolutely great from start to finish.
We explained we like certain type of beers, they contacted the brewery for us to get some in stock (particularly lovely of them given they are a cocktail bar!). We had pizzas served throughout the evening, which our friends and family loved (this included catering for any specific dietary requirements).
We were able to have our own playlist, show a video of embarrassing photos of the birthday boy, and we made sure our group had the option to enjoy the amazing cocktails as well as beer.
Everyone we've spoken to who celebrated with us commented on how great the evening was, how nice the staff were, the food and the atmosphere in general.
If you're looking for a venue for a private function, then i would absolutely recommend Code 34. They will listen to your ideas and work with you to make it a success.

Thank you to the entire Code 34 team for making my event a great one.
I hosted Single & Mingle, Nottingham's #1 Social for Professional Singles, at Code 24 in July and can't wait to work with them again.
The staff were attentive and clearly enjoyed their work. The venue felt cosy and intimate - perfect for my event. And my guests commented on what a lovely place it was.
None of them had been before, and so now they have a new cocktail bar and Italian bistro on their radar.
I'm looking forward to hosting future events with Code 34 and highly recommend them for private hire, or a pre/post-theatre drink or three.

Code 34 is a nice little cocktail bar. The choice of drinks was good, the decor quirky and music slightly alternative which gave it a nice, casual vibe.
There are "speciality" cocktails on the board and the standard selection. The friendly staff also advised they make off menu cocktails if you want.
Only slightly odd thing is that the cocktail bar was open downstairs, so we were greeted at the door by someone, then walked through what looked like a closed restaurant area, to the back stairs and down into the bar. From outside it wasn't clear it was open or what we were walking into.

An absolute find. Tried three other cocktail bars and they were either closed or private functions. Was walking by and noticed a wee table outside. Happy fate Friday. Fabulous cocktails, excellent service and really great music. Back in two weeks for another gig and this will be my first and only watering hole stop.

The food and cocktails are amazing and such friendly staff! The bar down stairs has AC and has a rustic feel. When I contacted the staff online they responded fast and we're so friendly. Would recommend!

Great service, really friendly and nice atmosphere.
Flood was tastey quick and reasonably priced.
Would definitely return to try the cocktails in the evening sometime!
