Fish cakes are always nice and the chips, fish are great too. The Chinese food is really good too. Best fish and chip takeaway I've eaten in a long time

Always great food from the Wise Eater. Their curry sauce is the best I've ever tasted! Portion sizes are good and on par with any other takeaway of a similar nature. I don't think I've paid for prawn crackers EVER! Excellent job, keep it up.

Restaurant is nice. Friendly aptmosphere. Your only aloud a certain amount of dishes per serving however the staff are always right in how much they give you because you go home full. great value for money. We always ask jean to bring out whatever she wants so we always have something different.

Really pleasant obliging staff. Excellent food, plenty of choice. Very good value. Never had a bad meal in either the restaurant or the fish & chip shop side. Definitely recommend trying the restaurant

We've only been a couple of times and I've asked why we don't go more! It's been nice every time we've been and would definitely recommend it. Sadly, they don't deliver, but it's worth the drive.

Good God this place is a Legend mrs clarke sold it back in 80s to chinese and papershop to indians later then Jean eventually bought papershop made into big chippy then eventually a chinese resturant licensed...so over say 33years of frying their still going...they made a mint out of local pubs when village was Booming manor miners tinhat crown bull lion jokers all locals did have kebab or two...since moving to live in miami it feels a life time away but hope it keeps going for years to come....am just on way to the beach..Boo
