Came for dinner this afternoon. Young woman that served us was friendly. The food was good; large haddock was hot and a decent size for the price but the chips were slightly dry.
Took a while to get through on the phone to order food and book my collection slot which might put off some customers. Ordered large fish and chips (X2) + 1 X large gravy (£17). Food was fresh and hot but the fish were not large as sold or by comparison to other good fish and chip shops in the area. Would use again and although the food is fresh and tasty does not represent good value.

Great food and friendly service, okay prices have increased but in the current energy crisis, what else are they to do, the kebabs are always fresh and plentiful and obviously the quality of the fish goes without saying 👍
A perfect chippy!
We came across this venue by sheer chance and what a great find it was. A varied menu is available with some old favourites from childhood times included, that a lot of other chip shops have left behind.
The food was reasonably priced, cooked fresh to order and we were entertained by the owner who was something of an artist in his cooking and comedy!
He was very helpful, the venue looked immaculate and I can see this becoming a regular trip for the food!!

Good value for money from my local chippie
I originally thought the prices were a bit high, but the portion sizes were immense! One kebab would've been more than enough for two of us. Great quality and taste.
Produces very fine fish and chips. A busy small business that is efficiently run by a team that cares. I always order my special needs as I enter and rarely have to wait more than a few minutes. If it's fast food you're after, I commend it to you.
Always been fantastic chips, but what's happened to the portion sizes?? Only a couple of weeks age they were really generous but now they've become really stingy. Bit of a shame because it's quite pricey
Used to live locally and used them all the time, now moved a bit further away but still go now and again when I'm passing. Always great fish and chips and love the tartare sauce that comes with it too!
