The Playwight hosted our 60th Birthday party for my partner. The back rooms were lovely, they let us bring our music. The food we ordered was great and they brought it to us at the time we asked for, such a lot of food for them to produce for us. They took care to let us know which was the food for the people with food sensitivities. Service was great. We and our guests had a great time. Thank you so much for hosting us.

Really nice pub. Never too loud and rarely too crowded. The decor is cosy and warm, menu is varied and all dishes are very tasty including vegan options, and service is also excellent.

Searching for a place for a family meal on Sunday, I found a review: probably the best pizza in Nottingham, so I chose this pub. I don't know if there is any better pizza in Nottingham, but the one we had here was excellent. My 5-year-old son finished his completely! Very friendly service and a pleasant, spacious, atmospheric interior where you can relax.

Love love love it here. Me and my partner always pop in for a drink and sometimes a bite to eat. Staff are always a pleasure to see and food and drinks are lovely. The staff have such a passion for this place and you will see why when you go.
I put 20 to 30 pound per person that’s if you having food and a nice cocktail etc. but you could come in here for one or two it would be cheaper as well. Highly recommend!

Called in because of the pizza oven. Ordered a margarita, tater tots and chicken wings with BBQ sauce. All of it was absolutely delicious and good value for money at £24. Fed two of us quite well for lunch. Was quiet when we walked in but soon got busy. Recommend if you’re up that end of town.

First time in Nottingham, and I visited this amazing pub. I should say it should be in everyone's bucket list if you ever visit Nottingham. Friendly staff and swift service. They have a beer, Gatden, and a private area for special occasions.

Best Pub in town! Has the best quiz I've ever been to thanks to Alex the quizmaster and also came in today to my suprise to find she also does the food! The pizza was lovely Alex is a top chef! Great service all around, Tanya was really nice and gave me some great suggestions for drinks. Will be back!

I come here a few times so I decided I will bring my date here, we had a great time, pub decorations are really cool and the staff are the nicest of anywhere I’ve been, very helpful, I was served my drinks by Tanya and she was so lovely, had a great chat, our food was delicious too we had pizza and chicken wings and the chef Alex even came out herself to ask if we enjoyed it, which we did a lot! I think the best pizza in Notts, hopefully I will get a second date and bring her back here
