If you love to craft (or even just afternoon tea), then you'll absolutely love this place! Was looking for a craft activity to do as I was in Nottingham for the day, and ended up finding this gem of a place.
I had contacted them beforehand and Katie kindly helped to get me in as a solo booking. I did the Crafternoon of Teacup Floristry and had an amazing afternoon tea - it was exactly what I was looking for.
The decor is so cute and all the team were super helpful and friendly. I just wish I had one of these places closer to me - can you please come to Shropshire?!
Katie in particular was really helpful in going through how the crafternoon worked, and then I was left to have fun creating.
I never felt rushed and was offered my afternoon tea once I was ready - and it was so good!
Would 100% travel to Nottingham just to go back here!
Me and my friend went here today for lunch and everything was delicious! We both had the soup of the day which was perfect for the cold weather it warmed is both up nicely. After we had a cup of tea and while I had a piece of toffee cake my friend had a sweet scone. Everything was amazing and would love to come back to try a crafternoon sometime! The interior is beautiful & staff are very friendly 😊
Really impressed with the amount of choice on the gluten and dairy free crafternoon tea. Was a real treat! Lovely afternoon out with friends for a birthday. Thank you.
An eclectic gem of a place hidden within the Lace Market. So glad I came across it. Had a lovely craft afternoon with delicious carrot cake and tea. Will return for one of their afternoon teas and take friends to share this delightful experience
I took my God Mother to Debbie Bryan for an afternoon tea to celebrate her 85th birthday. We both had such a lovely afternoon. The tea was fabulous, so tasty and catered for both our dietary needs - I am vegan. My Auntie Pat said the scone was the best she'd ever had !! The two young ladies looking after us were very friendly, helpful and attentive. It's a great place and I'd highly recommend it! This is my second visit and I will definitely be back again !!
A lovely cosy place, perfect to spend an afternoon unwinding while enjoying some crafts and luscious baked goods.
I’ve been to Debbie Bryan several times for crafternoons and workshops and always enjoy my time there. The owner Debbie along with her team are warm and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile and happy to help.
The desserts also never fail to impress as they are always delicious.
Overall, a great experience!
Spent a smashing afternoon here with a group of ladies for my friend's baby shower, and we were really impressed with the afternoon tea. Great food/drink, delicious cakes, wonderful and attentive service, gorgeous little venue. All very easy to arrange, and some very particular dietary requirements were no issue at all. The shop area at the front is a lovely addition too. This place couldn't have been more perfect for my friend, who'd never been but loved it. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!
Had a wonderful afternoon of craft! The venue is beautifully decorated and so lovely inside. The staff are all really friendly and helpful.
We chose the ceramic coaster painting session and it was very fun and quite easy. We got the deal that includes a drink and a cake, which was yummy.
Would 100% recommend.
I attended an art workshop at Debbie Bryan at Nottingham Lace Market last week and had a fabulous time. It was easy to find, a convenient location and the people were very friendly. The shop itself was open and well spaced, there was a mix of many beautiful thins to choose from. I had a coffee and homemade cakes that were delicious also. The atmosphere for the workshop was great , just the right number of people to be able to learn and try everything within the allowed time. I would definitely recommend attending a workshop here.
A wonderful gem of a cafe. Tea, hot chocolate and fantastic cake in what is probably the most artistically interesting cafe in Nottingham. Located through a shop selling a wide range of high quality, unique, hand made craft items reflecting the Lace Market's history.
