Free parking and green space to suit all ages. We had a coffee and a cake over looking the boating lake. Service was very efficient and drinks and food offering extensive. I may be slightly biased as the gluten free choice was impressive.
A great spot on campus, one of the only places to get a proper bacon and egg sandwich nearby. Am a regular as you can tell from my obsession with photos of the lake. A nice lap round takes about 20 mins, 35 mins with time for photos 📸

With large windows overlooking the park boat, clean interior and few outside tables, perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or just coffee with taste scones/clotted cream/jam 😋 trio... There is a choice of sandwiches and hot pies as well, served with a smile, even when they are short of staff (which they apologized on memo on glass).
Definitely will be even better with more space inside, but still a nice stop to rest when University Park walking/riding/boating/golfing/playing 👍🏻
Nice little cafe after a walk around Highfields Park. Offers outdoor seating on a nice day too (very limited). They do a nice selection of pastries and cakes and you can add a shot of flavoured syrup in your iced mocha if you ask! Hot chocolate is a favourite too.
A lot of reviews remark on the friendliness of the staff. I can't say if I found them friendly or particularly unfriendly. They do a good enough job serving and they try to move through a queue swiftly if they are busy which doesn't leave much time for friendly chatter.
Very nice food and drinks selection. Not too expensive and good choice.
Only thing was no one was clearing tables and not everyone will adhere to self clear so lots of pots and rubbish left in tables we had to clear before sitting down. But a nice drink and snack.
