Crunch Munch

This is truly such an underrated shop. The food I received had certainly far surpassed my expectations as a consequence of some of the reviews I have seen. In no less than 10 minutes, my food was ordered, prepared and delivered. The delivery time expectations of 30 minutes was absolutely SHATTERED by this record time. The fries were not crunchy to begin with, but as I approached the bottom of my MixWix box, they began to increase exponentially in both crunchiness AND munchiness. The chicken strips were most certainly munchy, but not as crunchy as expected. Following on, the wings were both munchy and crunchy and personally I do not think that KFC could create such a beautiful amalgamation of chicken and seasoning in a million years. I actually burnt my lip on the wing -- that's how hot the food was when it arrived. As for the burger, it was flat for some reason but otherwise structured cleanly and therefore made the experience of consuming it more enjoyable. It came, unsolicited, with lettuce and mayo (not complaining), and featured one of the munchy chicken strips from the MixWix. Personally, I would certainly buy this over a McChicken any day. The burger, overall, was both crunchy AND munchy due to the munchiness of the chicken and the crunchiness of the lettuce. To make it even better, the bun was even grilled at the bottom which made it even more aesthetically pleasing than it already was. The Pepsi was German for some reason, but otherwise tasted fine and was ice cold when it arrived contrary to some other reviews I have seen. My main takeaway points from this are that the food was simply incredible and the delivery time was way faster than advertised. Crunch Munch's MixWix is more than just a meal; it's an adventure for your taste buds. Don't get what people moan about. Its a economically priced chicken joint. People need to manage thier expectations. I usually stop here when changing at Notts station for my train to Wales. The Chicken wings are top notch. Have a lovely crispy and slightly spicy taste. Service is always quick and polite.

Love the fact that there is a Halal Burger place right next to the Central Train Station. Standard burger place, that serves fast food. Reading the reviews as though they are expecting Gourmet Burgers, this is a standard fast food place but getting off the train and seeing this establishment really makes me proud of the diversity that we can celebrate in the UK. Ended up becoming a lifeline, was craving a Halal eatery being stuck in a city with zero ethnic places. Will revisit everytime that I get off the train in Nottingham.
