Convenient location just on the outskirts of Lenton, this is a nice pub-cum-bar for a few casual pints and a game of pool. The atmosphere always tends to be pretty relaxed, although I have been told that more recently they've turned the volume of their backing music up far too loud. I've eaten here once and it was a tasty, filling meal with the added bonus of a 2-4-1 offer! Just what you'd want for a student hang-out.

Fons

There is no food anymore sold in The Ropewalk, so the staff allows you to bring food from other places there. It is a great place to go with friends, play some pool, darts and ping-pong while having a beer. Their best beer they serve, in my humble opinion, is the czech lager Kozel.

Great, pool and table tennis makes this place nice. Drinks can be v cheap sometimes
