Defo best frites in town. Don't listen to negative reviews, this place is top quality. Good location, right in the centre. Service is great, the owners (staff) are super friendly, ask them your doubts and they will help. My favourites are the bacon cheese fries but I always order them without cajun spice because I can't eat spicy. My boyfriend's fav are the ones with andalucian sauce and garlic herb sauce.
Frites are crunchy and fresh, toppings delicious. Great variety, even good vegan options.
If you put a negative review because your order wasn't quick and food arrived cold or soggy that's a problem with Uber eats or Deliveroo, not the restaurant. Totally recommended 10/10 to anyone who is in the mood for some amazing frites. Reminder: we are not in Holland.

Freshly opened, fries are tasty fresh made, nice choice of sauces. But why you don't have a bins for garbages? Walking to opposite side to throw away is not convenient at all. And one more thing fries boxes are not the best for holding in hand because of shape, and not easiest to take fries from it too a specially from the bottom. Except that place is nice and clean, and stuff make thair best too!
Finally found the perfect Canadian poutine in the UK. Reminded me of our visits to Canada, tasted so good and the curd cheese was 😍 the portion was very generous but managed to polish it all off. Mr Frites is my new go to place, I will definitely be back again 👌🏽

We wanted to try this place for so long and we're so happy we went. Both the staff we absolutely lovely and so nice to talk to - you could have a real laugh with them. They advice you on all their products and really know their stuff. They went the extra mile for us despite it being lunchtime on a weekday! My partner needed a drink of water and they kindly brought it without question or charge. Would definitely recommend (and can't wait to go back) as the food is amazing and the staff are incredible.
Love this place, every time I walk past I want to go in. Who doesn’t love chips? Loads of flavours to choose from, but the gold standard is joppie sauce, a kind of curry mayo with an oniony twang. They’ve started doing fish and wings now too! Everything is delicious and the staff are honestly the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They have seats outside and it’s a great spot for people watching too.
Great job having a vegan alternative for just about everything, very impressed. Popped in with my partner whos a meat eater and he said "it makes a change for us both to have a wide choice from the same place! Staff were helpful and friendly and the food was lovely. Will definitely pop in again.

I loved the taste of the Frites. Especially the Dutch sauce. I already visited 3 times in a row. The chips is so nice. Very tasty. Very fast service. It’s really value for money.

My personal favourite fast food place in Nottingham. Incredibly friendly and chatty staff that always talk to me and never fail to provide excellent service. As a life long vegetarian I have always found it hard to find a good vegetarian option at most fast food restaurants, but everything here is exceptional and very high quality. 100% would recommend over McDonalds, Burger King or Subway any day of the week.
I’ve visited Mr Frites a few time since they opened and have been very impressed every time! The food tastes great and there’s a wide range of choices for toppings. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the deco of the store is great too. The food tastes very authentic and I will definitely be back again in the future!
