A real dining experience 👏💛 Set on a farm, the restaurant is a unique blend of recycled with a twist of new. The Chateaubriand was super, the onion rings were dainty and so tasty. Super staff, with expert knowledge. The loo is amazing! We loved the whole experience!

Fantastic food, location, ambience and service! You don't need to be a meat eater to enjoy the menu (lots of veggie options) but the meat options are incredible, a must try and will not disappoint you! Plus you can take more home if you like. We'll be back to try the Sunday roast!

So many reasons to come here! Farm dining should be the next big thing. What better than eating food reared in the next field? The titular Richard (Dickie) has a passion for meat and educating his customers about what they eat- indeed each diner individually selects their cut of beef from the open fridge counter to be cooked to their liking. Wonderful interior design, amazing log burner, bring your own booze and attentive staff round off a delightful experience. Could not recommend more...and take your mates with you- they will love it.

Another wonderful experience at Dickies, this time for the Secret Steak night. Great outdoor experience with loads of thought put into effective social distancing. Food was just fantastic, as was the wine & beer selection. Food disappeared too quickly to get any decent photos!

This place is brilliantly unique. I particularly like the vegetarian breakfast at the moment In the past I have had steak and eggs,pancakes and a Sunday Lunch, nothing disappointed. (booking is definitely advised for S.L) I love that they grow as much as they can themselves throughout the year in the huge garden/allotment which you can see when you look out from the restaurant. The staff are welcoming,approachable and attentive. You are definitely getting the whole shebang when visiting here, quality food with a fab setting and great ambiance.

The best steak and dining experience for farm dining you will ever have, if you reading this thinking about visiting DO IT!! Take your own booze pick your actual steak all in a lovely converted shed with wood burning fire and a fantastic atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing place. Food is out of this world. We all agreed…it’s the best Sunday lunch we have ever had. The meat is incredible, cooked to perfection, and the red wine is very reasonably priced. Service was wonderful. The owners have done an incredible job creating this place….and the love and care they have shines through the whole experience. Very very well done. We will be back

We have been meaning to come here for a while, and we weren't disappointed. Lovely Sunday lunch. Beautiful starters, roast beef main accompanied with different vegetable dishes and good selection of desserts. Nice wine selection (as no longer BYOB) and we will definitely be returning
