Lovely surroundings, clean and very quaint, one of the bar staff took a photograph of us, which was much appreciated. The food was excellent and there was a good choice of low alcohol beer. Our friendly server was very attentive and helpful. We don't live in this area, but if we did we would definitely come again.

met by an efficient staff member who showed us our table, asked if we wished for a drink first, and produced menus for everyone including a gluten free menu, our drinks arrived and shortly after our orders were taken, the place is very smart and clean, the toilets are exceptionally clean and there was ample parking out front. The meal was particularly good, and everyone said as much. if only we could have stayed another Hour or so.

Wanted to take my mum and the dog out for Sunday lunch and came across the Griffin, we weren’t disappointed. Added bonus was the fast charger in the car park. They offered us a great table and provided a bowl for the dog. the roast was delicious and we can recommend the deserts too. Friendly and obliging service, sure we will be back soon

Visited in a regular Wednesday evening. Had parwn cocktail to start, needed seasoning but portion size was good. Main was Duo of Chicken and Beef. Both were cooked perfectly, beef literally fell apart with the touch of a fork! Gravy was superb.

Absolutely gorgeous meal here. Food was great, atmosphere was lovely and staff friendly. Years ago it use to be a bad pub, so if you haven't been since before it became a Rossetti (or however you spell it) forget what you know and go there immediately!
Also lovely beer garden.

Great meal for 4 people aged 60 to 95 years old. The staff are always helpful, pleasant and happy to help. The food is cooked nicely and presented well to tempt the customer. The selection of food and drinks is good. All in all a great time was had. Thank you.

The two mixed grills were amazing, a friend of mine said they hadn’t had one that good for ages!!! And lamb chops cooked perfect!! Only minor complaint would be the fish needs to be more crispy as the batter was a bit soggy but still tasted great!! And more mushy peas!! Had a lovely meal and it’s becoming our fave place to come for lunch or dinner!!

Had an excellent meal on Sunday. The staff were very friendly. A young lady named Phoebe welcomed us and looked after us during our visit, nothing was too much trouble. Our order was taken promptly. The food was excellent. This was our first visit to the Griffin but we will return when we are back in the area soon. Thank you.

Lovely food & the staff are always attentive and friendly even when you can tell they're under pressure.
It's a busy place, especially on a Saturday so always worth booking a table.

This was my first visit to Griffin in a while and I was really impressed with the service me and my friends received.
I took my 4 month old baby boy to meet my friends for lunch and the waitress was really mindful when serving us not to pass plates and cutlery over my baby. This may seem like logic but this is the first time I have experienced this in a restaurant.
Nothing was too much trouble for her and we weren’t rushed to pick our food or pay our bill.
We had a lovely lunch and I will be now suggesting it to some of my other friends and family to visit going forward.

LET DOWN BY MARSDENS. The menu here should be treated with extreme caution especially the so called Xmas Menu. The worst Xmas lunch my party and I had ever experienced. Starters were not bad but the main course was ghastly, not a single item on any plate was fresh it was either processed, tinned or straight out of the freezer YUK. . Apart from this there was at least half an hour between each course, the waiting staff poorly trained and carefully avoiding any eye contact with the customers just in case they should need anything. The Xmas atmosphere consisted of a single cracker and no mince pies! We wont be troubling Marsden pubs with our custom again. If you can't do it properly DONT DO IT. (And fire the kitchen staff).
