We were a tour group of about 18 people and I think everyone truly enjoyed their dinner here. My meal was an absolutely delicious bowl of local mussels as an appetizer and a most appealing looking and tasting ratatouille tart and potatoes for entree . This local pub has the friendliest owner and such a fun young staff.

My partner and I went to the Barn today for lunch. What a lovely place and the food was very affordable and delicious! The service was fabulous. The lady who was at front of house was friendly approachable and very good at her job. Nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was quiet and We both loved it. We are now looking forward to returning on a regular basis. 10\10.

Really enjoyed the food, assume that make the most of fresh local produce, obviously popular as several options got wiped off the board during the evening. Had guest ale and good selection of drinks. Staff were friendly. Busy with locals and people on holiday.

Wonderful food and service, with decent atmosphere. The menu rotates so is not available online, however it had a good selection - including several vegetarian options.
Toilets are clean, and there was ample parking. Note it is a single track road for the last mile.
Tip: book ahead by calling them if coming at a moderately busy time and wanting to eat inside.

What a hidden gem food was amazing all cooked to order. Bar staff and front of house were amazing great knowledge of food and drinks nothing a bother can't wait to come back well done guys for your hard work. Karen and Carol oh and willow sorry for the little piddle willow had 😂❤️❤️

The food here is out of this world. We called in without a reservation on the off chance. Staff where very accommodating. & our dog was just as welcome. I Had a couple of pints of the local brew as well. We will definitely be calling again.

Visited here for lunch today whilst staying with our lovely friends who live locally. Between us we had soup , muscles , steaks , lasagna , biscoff cheesecake and marmalade tart and drinks .
Each course was delicious and well presented. Portion size was generous. The biscoff cheesecake was perfection! Prices are good.
Lovely friendly service and warm and cozy with log fire which was topped up several times.
Will definitely be back.

Staying at near by Lodges we visited here by recommendation. Was not disappointed. Friendly staff and well organised given current circumstances. Booking in advance is recommended as I believe they were full the night before as well as Sat night on our attendance. Food was delicious kids enjoyed the burgers and pizza. The cajun chicken was excellent, portions were big. Dessert was also spot on.
