Great little pub. Good food, went off the over 50s menu, good choice nice and hot. Service was good. Great value for money.

The best lunch time pub meal I have had in a very long time. Steak pie was delicious, the steak was succulent and the gravy rich. The mash potato was fluffy and light and the veg cooked to perfection. The pudding was to die for, real heavy cream and ice cream with a gorgeous toffee sauce. Service was good and made us feel most welcome. All this because we got lost and found it by accident.
Booked this Sunday for a roast as well.

Stopped with my wife on the off chance that the restaurant was open on a Monday. Enjoyed a very generous and tasty starter and main course. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Will definitely be back again.
Popped in for lunch. Great choice of food.
I chose jacket potato with tuna & cheese. The potato was hot with a nice soft, fluffy centre. Side salad was crisp and fresh.
The manager and bar staff were extremely friendly and chatty.
What was originally a quick lunch turned out to be a 3hr visit. Will most definately visit again
Went for lunch and had warm chicken and bacon salad with a lovely honey and mustard dressing.
We had chips which were the best I've had in a very long time.

We attended a wedding reception here, it is a fabulous place, the food was fantastic, one of the best BBQs I have seen. Staff were great and attentive. It is also situated in a lovely village. Thoroughly recommended and we would seek this pub out if we were ever in the area again.
Stopped off for a bit of lunch today while on a 🚲 ride with my young son. Went to order some food at the bar, and was recommended a portion of freshly made quiche the chef had just made, served with chips and salad, at a reasonable price, which we had, and which was absolutely lovely! Will certainly be visiting again!
Had a lovely last minute booked meal. The food especially the chips was amazing. The 2 lads working that night were a credit to the pub. Even though the kitchen was shut one went out his way to ensure my friend and I got a pudding and my goodness, it was so worth it.
Lovely pub situated in a quiet area, very friendly staff willing to help no matter what.
The food was ok, the prawn cocktail starts was great, the steak and ale pie was lovely with chips, but the roast pork was under cooked and was still slightly red in the middle.
The absence was fine to start with, but the only think that put us off our meals, was a gentleman that kept clearing his throat all the time we were trying to eat our meals it was a real turn off and killed the day.
What a fabulous pub this is! Great food, great atmosphere and the staff are amazing! Chris, Martin and Zoe are a great teammate , who go out of their way to look after you. Prices are affordable, highly recommended.
