A nice community feel. The food was good. My friend's spaghetti was a nice flavour and so too was my lasagne. Would've given five stars but the service was rather slow, especially considering there were only a few customers in the café - perhaps both were due to the hot weather (?) I liked the fact that you could have a small portion at half the price - both dishes were only £7 each! 🙂 an important factor I think, in these straitened times.

Wheelchair accessible and really accommodating when we came in out of the rain for a quick coffee whilst waiting for the cinema. Coffee was lovely and the cheese roll was huge. Staff wonderful. Thoroughly recommend.

I’ve had lunch in Grants many times, and it never disappoints. The food is always really tasty & freshly prepared, the staff are friendly & helpful, and the place has a real chilled vibe. I highly recommend it

What a find!
Great Full English breakfast and hot drink refill. Fairy lights hang from a low ceiling and there is a bookshelf wall which makes the place so cosy and inviting. Perfect if you've just been walking on Dartmoor.
The loos are also unusually modern with Italian tiles which was appreciated.

Very friendly café. Felt very welcome here. Dog friendly too. Vegan friendly although you have to pay extra for milk-alternatives which seemed a bit weird in 2022. Absolutely delicious food.
