I can not recommend this place highly enough,
Very friendly and welcoming family run business, extremely passionate about what they do, we camped here for a couple of days and although it rained we still enjoyed the 40acre surroundings , fed several horses and played fetch with quincy the dog, also very friendly , spotted a deer, took a stroll in the woods and stumbled across a river. Took the cider tour which was awesome, and very informative it's a great insite into how it's made. after we got to taste the creations and they were delicious. Also bought some to take home ..wide selection of goodies in there farm shop and a nice selection of home made foods , salad platter is a must have. Can't wait to visit again hopefully for more than a couple days.
Cider Vat were an incredible local supplier for our wedding in North Tawton. Large order of cider delivered ahead of time for the bar and when we couldn't find a local supplier of clotted cream they managed to arrange for a neighbour to make some fresh and have it delivered in time at really short notice. Have a wonderful barn on site stocked with local products and, of course, one or two lovely dogs walking around.

So much land to choose where to camp, you can literally camp anywhere within the map they give you.. nothing commercial which I find perfect..
The most lovely people with the passion that makes you warm inside.. These people are humble, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable, they went out of their way to help us..
The price for camping is fair, the facilties are there and the shop is fair pricing and plenty in there to choose from..
And I haven't even mentioned the cider... They make some of the best cider I've ever tasted and they have created ciders that are famous in the own right..
I think I've found my new favourite campsite.. and my boys absurdly absolutely loved roaming around in the orchards, forests and fields..

Visited today (out of season in March) and the owner was more than happy to host (with assistance of a good little dog who wanted to be our best friend!), brilliant and knowledgable lady who explained the process of the making and the differences, great choice of local real cider (and of course their own) hoping to return in summer 10/10 experience and customer service and of course tasted amazing!
What a hidden gem! Can't believe I nearly missed out on this gorgeous, friendly and so welcoming little family-run farm shop. Delicious cider grown and made on site, as well as cakes, sausage rolls, pasties etc...fields/orchards that the owners gladly gave me free roam over. 10/10, cannot recommend enough. A wild camper/tourists paradise
Went in search of cider and boy did we find it, and vodka, gin, rum and cake. The owners are very welcoming and knowledgeable about their products. We will be back next time we are in Okehampton. Their dogs are also super friendly.
Great hidden gem! Really nice farm shop with a great range of local ciders including their own. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff offered tasting too!

What a lovely place, fantastic, rustic charm!!! The hosts are both knowledgeable and friendly which makes for a welcoming experience. Highly recommend!!!! Oh yeah, their cider isn't bad either!!
What a fabulous place to visit. We found this place today by accident and will be going back.
Popped in today for cake and coffee and of course cider. The staff were delightful, informative and charming. Cake and coffee were perfect and the cider tasting gorgeous, and we could have had a full meal. A brilliant range of ciders which challenge the famous shop brands, but made with much more affection.
The shop carries a range of ''bits and bobs" that are intriguing, some unique and certainly worth checking out. Different enough to warrant a planned visit.
So cider, good food, nice coffee, food shop and a trinket/souvenir shop full of surprises, this place is serviced by lovely family staff.
Highly recommended. I shall return. 😀
