Lovely friendly pub, great home made food, although children's portions would benefit from being slightly larger for the price. Decent selection of beers and a nice and clean, warm and cosy atmosphere. Staff welcoming and accommodating and obviously dog friendly which was perfect for us. We'll be back!!

We visited lunch time and had a lovely meal and dessert at The New Inn. We were made to feel welcome and service was great. The menu had a good selection. It is dog friendly and we will certainly return when in the area again.

Happened upon the New Inn after a quick google, as our intended destination was shut. What luck! We were welcomed warmly for a delicious meal, and the service was exemplary. Lovely and warm inside, and really top notch homemade food. Recommend the mackerel starter, the fish & chips, pie of the day and the sponge pudding. Will return if we ever find ourselves in the area again.

Latest visit here today with our Sunday lunch group of 14 people. As always, this pub provided a great lunch selection. Some of us had the excellent set Sunday lunch option with a choice of either turkey or beef as the meat, a very good selection of veg was also available with special mention to the cauliflower cheese. Others of us tried the normal menue ranging from fish and chips, Thai green curry, Market fish of the day, and again special mention to the glazed pork ribs. Service was quick and efficient. A pub well worth visiting.

Great place to eat, drink and enjoy the peaceful green garden at the back, a stroll trough the picturesque village highly recommended. Tasty food, lovely staff.

Food amazing, great pint, reasonably priced, friendly staff, not too posh, everything you want in a pub. We had two roast dinners which were both cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back

Visited on a Tuesday night which was busy with many people eating from their menu. I had the pork loin which was fantastic & flovoursome with black pudding mash. My husband's chicken& mushroom pie was equally delicious. A good selection of cask ales. Friendly & attentive staff also. All in all a very pleasant experience which we hope to repeat.

I was taken here today by my husband to enjoy our time together without our children. It was a lovely, quiet setting, beautiful building, friendly staff and the food was amazing. Everything came out beautifully presented, and was all cooked to perfection. We will definitely be coming back here again and highly recommend!

Excellent pub! Friendly greeting, accommodated our request to change tables without a fuss, orders taken promptly with a smile and despite multiple questions about the menu the cheerful attitude remained. Food came quickly and was delicious - best Sunday roast lunch I’ve had in a long time. Outstanding experience, we’ll be back!
