Really good food, nice chilled atmosphere in there on a Sunday, but it does get busy mid afternoon so definitely book if eating in the restaurant section. If you have dogs you can only eat in the regular pub area, which is understandable, so you can't book tables there it's just 1st come basis. We're happy we found this place and plan to go again for sure. Decent views also.

From beginning to end, the experience was absolutely fantastic. Having become accustomed to haphazard service over the years, it was really a breath of fresh air to find somewhere that does customer service properly. Attentive, friendly staff serving some of the best food in the area. We had a great night and will be returning soon!

Pleasant environment, nice and smiley staff, but, and it's a big but! Amazing food, and really good prices. We had a huge chicken burger, salad, coleslaw, 3 half's of bitter shandy, braised steak, mash peas and gravy, and I finished off with apple and peach crumble with custard, total cost £27. Two of us have had a bowl of soup, 2 coffees and not much more for £20+. We will be back and recommend you to try it. Large car park, outdoor eating and drinking area Nice country setting

Amazing food with amazing service, steak wasn’t cooked how ordered the first time but couldn’t do enough to put this right! And when it came back out it was perfect! Apart from that everything was delicious especially the creamy garlic mushroom starter and the freshness of ingredients! So glad this place is just down the road

A small group of us ate at the Kings Arms last week for a lovely catch-up meal. I'd read many of the reviews, so I was excited to visit myself, and it did not disappoint. The food we had was presented very well and the service was wonderful. We very much enjoyed our visit and would not hesitate to return if ever in the area.

Travelling from Huddersfield to Diggle how lucky were we to pull into the Kings Arms for a meal. We were again fortunate at this busy time to be offered a table for 3 immediately. We had a light bite and to be honest it was huge. The price was excellent as was the service and atmosphere. Thank you very much. Price:- is one starter, 3 mains and 2 drinks. Can recommend the whole menu.

Opted for the 3 course's for £16 early bird menu, served till 6pm (certain days apply) wasn't disappointed, starter, salmon fish cakes, served with a decent salad, a sweet chilly dip excellent. Main was the burger, which was cooked perfectly with salad and cheese, served with chips, very tasty, enjoyed every mouthful. Sweet had the Brandy snap which was served with 3 scoops of flavoured ice cream. Fantastic value for money, All the staff are a credit to the place friendly, polite and nothing too much trouble, rare to find. Comfortable surroundings, modern with great views from the front of the building. Will definitely be returning. 10/10

Cracking 3 course Sunday menu. Great food, really good portions. The calamari and chicken wing starters were lush and the main course steak option was delish. Barely had room for the pudds 😂. It does get really busy so you deffo need to pre book otherwise you’ll have to try your luck as a walk in. Service can be a bit hit and miss when they are busy.
