Had a lovely meal at The north star, I was impressed with the portion size, deffo worth the slightly higher price tag then I would normally spend. Will definitely be going again , customer service was top notch and very welcoming atmosphere. Lilly and Kelsey really stood out

Haven’t been here for a couple of years until this week when 6 of us came for the set menu.
The food was excellent and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
Coming at a quieter time with only one other table in, we did expect the staff to be slightly more attentive. Having to leave the table to find someone to take our food order, to order more drinks, to get sauces, to get cutlery etc. diminished the experience slightly, however this definitely wouldn’t stop us from coming back again.

Popped in while staying locally and other places had stopped serving. Warm welcome from staff, lovely and clean, food fabulous, we all enjoyed. Waiting staff were great.

New owners in so decided to give it a try. There on Sunday Cheese onion pie fab. Crumble and custard even better. Service excellent. Live on Trent road so walked round. Will be going again for sure. Live music soooooon. Can't wait. Good luck to the new Owners and staff..
