Reviews of Gold Star

"Now hear this" I dont get paid for these reviews and im not related to anyone working at this place. I pop in Gold star for take away once or twice a week. Its a quite clean place serving all kinds of tasty foods including burgers, southern fried style chicken, kebabs, chicken tikka wraps, Donner wraps, selection of cold drinks. You know the script. There's a few tables by the window so you could eat in but generally its take away. Yes Its pretty decent and tasty food. I understand "GOLD STAR" do deliveries too so you cant go wrong. My only gripe (hence 4 stars) is presentation is everything guys.. I like to see food handlers wearing appropriate clothing it gives a better impression but otherwise nice food.

Firstly i gave 5 stars because i had no reason to give less. This is not a review given by someone bigging up his mates. I am just a random customer. I have dropped by at this food place numerous evenings in the last say six months on my way home from "playing gigs". I could say i used to get strange looks mainly from customers sat in ??, but thats not my problem. As for the staff having got used to me and my orders theyre friendly and responsive. Staff generally wear "some" appropriate "food prep" clothing and the surroundings appear cleanly kept. "Order wise" I usually have a box of fried chicken and chips or sometimes a kebab with salad if i fancy and a can of pop or two. Prices are fair, food tastes decent and theres a good menu to choose from. You can eat in sat by the window but its mainly fellow country men that seem to do that but thats fine. Always somewhere to park near enough outside. I like this place they open til late very handy and do deliveries too.Toilet within.Yep give em a try.
