My family and I really loved Umbertos. We’re so sad it’s closed down now… my dad mentions all the time about how he wish he could’ve done something to help Umbertos. 😔😔😔 we really miss going. The family that worked there were so so sweet. We wish nothing but the best for them. It was such a great calm environment for a family dinner. 🥺 so amazing. We’re really going to miss it.

Best crispy thin crust pizza in the area! Light, flavorful sauce made with actual tomatoes, spices baked in, and quality toppings all combine to make an exceptionally good pie that is very bold and flavorful. Be sure to order it "well done, extra crispy", because that's how I like it.
The restaurant is mostly takeout but I always like to stop in, as it's a warm and cozy place to chill out and have a good glass of red wine or a beer and relax for a bit.
Pro tip: get a pie or two from here, then go visit the surrounding craft breweries. Umberto's is conveniently located right around the corner from Lone Oak, Elder Pine, and Waredaca and immediately outside of Olney.

UmBerto’s is one of my favorite places. The owner knows me from my going often over the years and I get a hug plus the best eggplant parmigiana around. This is one of my favorite dishes so I feel I am an expert judge of its quality. Their tira midi is also divine. Everything is homemade. Do you yourself a favor and
visit UmBerto’s!!!

I had the chicken parmigiana. It was very good. I could only eat half of it. So for the price I'll get 2 big meals from it. We had the fried zucchini as an appetizer. Delicious, went perfectly with the meal. Live music in the other room.

The food is good quality. You can request vegetables instead of pasta if you are trying to reduce carbs. The Pizza is very good. It's small but usually not crowded.

Love this place!!!
They have the best pizza in the area! Thin crust with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Their white pizza is delicious too. Their salads are great! The dressing tastes bright and not too heavy.
I always get great service from this family owned resturant. They're so kind and accommodating. I have to stop myself from going to often or I will get fat : )
It's winter now, but in good weather they have a cute patio out back. It is a fun option when spring comes!

My family and I decided to check out this place for my fathers birthday. Everything was amazing from the beginning to end! The food was hot and fresh!!! Server was amazing, he had many tables to attend and took very good care of us. I recommend anyone who wants to check this place out to do it! You won’t be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I just moved to the area from the New Jersey/New York area. We have had a hard time finding a true Italian restaurant with half decent food. We were driving and stumbled across Umbertos and decided to give it a try! From the outside, the place doesn’t look like much. It was a very quiet Sunday afternoon and to be honest, it didn’t seem like a good sign. But boy were we wrong! The food was incredible!! Tasted just like the New York Italian food that we have missed. Santos served us and was great!!
Moral of my story, don’t judge this place by the outside! Give the food a try and you won’t be sorry!

This was our first time at Umbertos. I am glad we stopped here.
The food service was friendly and quick. The Pasta Bolognese was huge and flavorful. My wife ordered The broiled Rockfish. She said it was awesome. When we were full we asked for 2 to go boxes. We had 2 more full meals the next day.
This is definitely a place to add to your bucket list.

What an awesome place. The owner, Umberto, is an amazing person to start. I love in Olney and have always drove by the place. I had an extreme hard day at work and said what the heck let get a cold one and head on home. While there I chatted up a conversation with Umberto and man what history he has in MoCo. I looked through the menu and ordered some pies to take home. My dad, mom, wife, and kids dig right in. They were probably one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a real long time. Fast forward and we have been back for more pies and my dad and mom have been back several more times. Food is absolutely out of this world. Must tries are to Ossobuco and chicken parmigiana. Also, have a cold one at the bar and chat or up with Umberto. The man is super cool and a true American hero.
