Good consistency of chips and portion sizes are decent.
£2.40 for a portion, a bit on the steeper than others.
The fish is on the small side compared to other chippies I use. I haven’t had a bad portion of chips.
Handy tip, always ask to wrap your fish separately. And put salt and vinegar on them at home.

I can't fault this chip shop ,I live on the other side of the Midlands but always pop in if passing or visiting family for fish and chips which are always fresh and delicious , keep up the good work and thank you for your service.........👌😃
Great food once again, my son had a mixed kebab meat burger with salad, chilly, yoghurt he enjoyed & eat the lot. Large chips we shared & for me as ever the Haddock was once again amazing. I would highly recommend this over cod but obviously personal preference; for me the dish of the house 😋 😋 Val, the owner, is a top lad as an added bonus! 👍😎
I love this fish shop .val and his wife and the staff are always happy to cook your food just as you like it .val is a really nice gent and the girls he has working there are friendly and lovely and they know my order and his wife is so nice .I wish this business all the best and I’ll go there all the time and collect lovely fresh food . This chip shop was recommended to me by a couple of people, especially to try the fish and chips.. I had to pass a few chip shops to get here but it was well worth the drive, quality of the fish was as good as it gets and the chips were equally as good.. impressed!! Cheerful staff too.. definitely recommend
Good food polite well mannered staff
We've had our fish and chips from here for years, but tonight I confused them by changing a delivery order to a collection order a few minutes before it was due and they were still unflappable. They are very busy on Fridays and yet they don't undercook anything. This is the best.
Delivery service was awful. Booked it online with lots of advance notice but didn't turn up until almost an hour late. I went there in the end but my order was already out by then. Was told they'd turned the phone off because too busy. Lots of apologies but terrible service. Not good! Why five stars? Because the fish and chips is that good that I think it was worth the hassle. I moved away so I hadn't been in a long while but the food is fantastic!

Usually always a good service but recently I have hit rush hours at this place and they can run out if fish and/or chips and the staff aren't too helpful at letting you know that. But the food is always delicious and perfectly cooked. In fact, if they run out, and you're willing to wait for them to make some more, it's even better because it's so fresh
