Great evening and lovely warm atmosphere.
The menu did not make me go wow...I was hoping for a better range...not more just better...but that's a personal view...food was good when it came...service was good

First time back to this wonderful place in a long time and so glad we did. The Cross Keys has the finest Gluten Free menu choice of anywhere I’ve ever been which as a Celiac is essential. Wonderful to see the chef offering something different to the usual pub fare with excellent fish options. Add to this the attentive and friendly service from the waiting staff and you have the perfect venue. Our party of four felt the prices fairly reflect the high quality food and service and would recommend the Cross Keys very highly.

Lovely cosy pub. Staff friendly and helpful and plenty of choice from the menu. We had swordfish which was excellent, really tasty and nicely presented. We will definitely eat there again and recommend it.

Booked a table for a Saturday lunch for a family get together. There was eleven of us in our party. Table position was fab, doors to the new lovey outside seating area we're open, letting in the lovely sunshine.
Service was fantastic, food selection is great, something for everyone.

An enjoyable meal with friends, no one was disappointed with their meal. The service was friendly and attentive. Personally I was disappointed that the apple crumble had walnuts in the topping as I have an allergy. I had the Eton mess instead and it was very good.

Had Easter Sunday lunch here today. Lots of options to choose from we had one of each of the lamb, beef & pork. All were beautiful, loads of veg & of course Yorkshire Puddings! Great value for money we thought (the apple crumble was the nicest I’ve ever had). The staff could not have been friendlier, and really made a fuss of our dog - he even got a small doggy bag to bring home :-) we will be back next time we are in the area.
