Perhaps not the best time for a great atmosphere (17:30) those who are drinking are soaking up the last ☀️in the beer garden. Added to this - the newly crowned young pub chef of the year is away on his hols in 🇭🇷. The ale nevertheless is great - a choice of 3 on cask.

We had a birthday celebration at the Cricketers last night. The food was delish, and the service was outstanding. The two lads that were on duty were really friendly and very helpful, which made a refreshing change as wherever we seem to go these days, the service is atrocious! Will definitely be returning soon.

Had lunch here on Friday with my friend. Food really good! The pork belly special was delicious,compliments to the chef! Very friendly efficient staff

Nice place, attended following step sons graduation. Busy due to this. Staff managed to ensure all orders dealt with quickly. Food was nice and reasonable portions. Would recommend.

Lovely atmosphere , fantastic food great service.
Went after my daughter's graduation from Edge hill - she got a complementary glass of fizz and staff made a point of congratulating her as they passed.

Food was excellent. They did swap out the broccoli for spinach on the pork belly without asking us, but otherwise it was very tasty.
