Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff accommodated 15 of us including children from 2 to 10 years of age.
Food was plentiful and very tasty. The pub was pleasantly busy inside and out but not in the least bit noisy. With a good beer garden and sufficient parking.
All in all a very pleasant visit. Highly recommended

Fabulous family owned pub. We stumbled across it one summer evening, and had very tasty home cooked meals that were superb value. All staff were a credit to the business as they were very pleasant and attentive despite them having to work twice as hard with everyone eating and drinking outside.
We will certainly be going back.

Lovely meal yet again today - thank you. 3 courses each and plenty to drink as a celebration but you can eat here very reasonably too! Loved the new sundae combination.

Lovely place to go for something to eat.
We went for a late afternoon Sunday dinner I had black pudding starter which consisted of two thick slices cooked in a thin and crispy batter served with salad this was followed by a pork and Turkey roast this was plentiful, hot and tasty.
The Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly nothing was too much trouble for them. My partner had an issue with her meal which was dealt with swiftly and efficiently.

We went as a last minute table of 10. They managed to fit us in plus the dog.
The food was great! They are big portions too. Will be returning. Nice selection of drinks and very friendly staff.

Absolutely amazing food. One of the best steaks I have ever had and the chips were equally amazing. The lady serving us was really attentive and had a great Manor. The place is full of history and is a place I will be going back to more often. Thanks for a great time !!!!!

We used to be regulars here until Andy and Sandra moved on.. tried it when it changed hands but weren't particularly enamoured... tried again a week ago, and definitely going to be regulars again!! Delicious home made food, beautifully presented and reasonably priced, and lovely service! Now top of our list!! ( after the Fishermans Rest)..
