Traditional Italian restaurant with very nice decor and low lit for a nice atmosphere. Service here is very good, attentive and friendly but not pushy. The food is really nicely cooked with all of the traditional Italian dishes you would expect. A large menu that covers everything from pasta to pizza, grilled meats and seafood. Sunday roast here is also among the best we have had anywhere. Quite a large restaurant with nicely laid tables and linen. The only thing which I would say would give this an extra star is if the menu included some more chefs specials or unusual Italian dishes. The chef here can obviously cook lovely food-would be great to see some more creative Italian dishes here! Overall highly recommended, the prices here are also reasonable.

Good food at good prices. Atmosphere was a little flat but the waiters and waitresses were polite and engaging. Decor is on the minimalist side with exposed brickwork but still feels warm and inviting. Highly recommended.
Lovely experience, when celebrating my Nan's 75th wedding anniversary. Very lovely staff. Was assured they don't cook with nuts, although there is a nut option pud. At the time and date we went it wasn't very busy which was lovely for us but can't really say what the atmosphere would be like. The food was very lovely and we we're all very full after 3 courses.

Had early evening dinner, so it was quiet on arrival, but got fairly busy.
Had a Groupon deal, and was pleasantly surprised.
Food was cooked beautifully, portion sizes were good too.
Staff were excellent. I'd go back, for sure.
Heard about Ben the new owner taking over and thought I’d give the place another try since having a bad experience before. Met at the door by Jose and made comfortable by the girls inside. Food was amazing, on time & had a great chat with Ben. Looking forward to visiting again and seeing the new changes
Dropped in for dinner on the off chance, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Good food (pizzas are great) and very reasonably priced, we'll go back.
This probably isn't the cheapest 'proper' restaurant in Orpington high street but you get what you pay for. And the food in Cafe Medi is superb. There is a range of dishes on offer, though as with a lot of Italian restaurants vegetables etc weren't in the price of most main dishes. The staff were very attentive and made our needs were being met.
All in all well worth a visit. But book directly with the restaurant. Some booking agencies charge the restaurant if you book through them.
