Visited Mumbai central on Sunday30 January,2022 to celebrate my sons 40 th birthday party. We had invited a large no of guests and children. When we arrived we were all individually greeted by the new manager a gentlemen called JP. We all had drinks in the newly refurbished Bar area , which was very comfortable and relaxing.when all our guests had arrived we were shown to the conservatory where all our guests were seated in our own space.we had three very attentive waiters who served us with starters which were excellent. This was followed by a buffet meal , each dish was freshly prepared with wholesome flavours and cooked to perfection. Especially the lamb which melted in my mouth. The icing on the cake was a chief making Nan breads in our presence and we all were delighted to have piping hot bead from the tandoor oven on to our plates , It just reminded of back home where feasting on freshly made Nan bread is very common. For the welcome, the amazing food , the service and the ambience I would have no hesitation to recommend this restaurant for a large party or even a romantic experience which you can enjoy in the train carriage which is parked in the car park. We have been patronising this restaurant for the last 16 years and had an amazing time on every visit

Probably one the best Indian foods I've ever tasted. There were some new dishes that I'd never heard off or seen on the menus of other restaurants! We were a party of six, we all ordered different starters and mains and we were all delighted with our choice. Definitely going back soon. Would have given 5 stars but unfortunately Mumbai Central was let down by one member of staff!

Been eating here over 25 yrs. Huge car park. Lovely lobby with bar to the right. Always greeted politely here by the boys and enjoy a cocktail first on the sofas. The main dining area is open, very well separated for your table privacy and very welcoming on the eye. Water features, garden conservatory in view. Fabulous menu with complementary wines, including a great range of starters. Not a chicken tikka masala or korma in sight! We normally order 5-6 starters with 10 mins intervals and a main to follow, over 2-3 hrs. I’ve never sent food back - always cooked perfectly from his authentic chef. Service is great too from all the boys who are very accommodating but not in your face. It’s my most favourite Indian cuisine in Kent. Keep it up Venky 👍

Good genuine Indian food all you need to know that you need Indian flavours not more chilli's they will make it for you. The ones we asked with flavours had it while ones we didn't ask were missing flavours again good to see that they understand difference between spicy and hot. Being vegetarian it was great as most often restaurants in Kent struggle to understand spicy vs hot that too with vegetarian food. Overall happy and will be going back 🙂

Tasty but bit pricey and needs premises smartening up. Couldn’t fault food except the lamb chops starter which felt like very cheap cuts. Hardly no meat . At prices charged there are little things that surprise like tables not being dressed with linen and failing this the table tops shouldn’t be bit grubby like they were. Chairs covers were quite stained. Staff were attentive and when things are nearer normal ( COVID) would hope the owners refurbish which is needed.
