Very warm and friendly also good heating /family oriented /good selection of wine and beer/staff are kind and helpful/very accommodating (Kate) she was very nice ,friendly :definitely come back recommend for friends and family.
Really pretty little place with some great food options. Can be pricey depending on dish but mostly worth it. Scallops starter was stunning for example. Very nice staff and great service.
Went out for dinner on Sunday evening as a group of 6, for some family visiting from down south, such a great experience. We ordered a variation of main meals across the table from roasts to pasta, with one of the group a veggie & it was all spot on. Rebecca looked after us from start to finish & we’ll be back again very soon!
Stopped for Sunday lunch and had the roast with trimmings.. Lovely flavours.. chicken was fantastic. Pork belly was dry and over cooked though (and small portion of pork).
Waiting staff were friendly and service was quick.

It's an attractive pub. It's evident that there's been some consideration around the overall theme and atmosphere.
Service was great. She seemed new and a tiny bit awkward but was attentive and professional.
The menu is not very extensive. However, it's still interesting and varied enough for most. I did note that it was very similar to The Pine Martin in Harrogate. It turns out they are part of the same chain.
The food was served quite quickly, although the place was relatively quiet. Overall the quality of the food is very good, tasty and well presented. Portion sizes were as expected, just about right.
Up there with the best roast dinners I have had in the country, let alone the area. Rebecca was very welcoming and pleasant. Also a fine pint of Wainwright and excellent wine menu. Highly recommended.
We've been to the White Hart a number of times over the past year or so, and today returned for a birthday treat. Once again a very pleasant meal, and excellent service from Rebecca and the team. The garlic pizza bread is always a favourite of ours, and today's was especially great. Thanks and see you again soon.
Lovely experience as per usual! Popped in for lunch and got a Margherita pizza and a side of fries and it was delicious. Justin and Emma were brilliant, both very attentive and friendly.
The Roast Beef dinner was delicious and the meat was so tender. A generous portion and lots of gravy. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and very attentive. I would say that the restaurant was very quiet when we visited. I would like to see more choice on the menu for vegetarians.
Had a 40% off voucher so thought would venture out mid week. Really good visit - nice welcome from our server Rebecca who was extremely attentive, knowldgeable about the menu and friendly. Top quality food and service. In fact, I've never had a bad experience at the White Hart - the quality of the ingredients is always top notch and whether we're seated in the restaurant or bar area, both are equally as good as each other although I must admit to preferring the bar area as it's a bit cosier. Really good range of beers on draught available too.
