Gloucesters Tea Rooms

Although the staff were all friendly and polite, as a Healthcare Professional I was very concerned at the lack of adherence to Covid 19 guidelines i.e track and tracing did not appear to be obligatory and any attempt to apply social distancing appeared non existant between staff and customers. It was disturbing to have a maskless staff member stood immediately next to me (within a foot) while taking my order. This surprised me considering the average age of the clientele in this establishment appeared to be over 70 years (a very high risk group.) Please remind your staff that Covid 19 is still around, cases are currently rising exponentially and we all want to avoid a 2nd lockdown. Hands, Face, Space... :)

Wonderful cafe, serving the nations favourite drink! Located in the depths of Otleys market streets, everything from the kind hearted staff to the lightly salted butter crumpets is to top standards.
