We had a group of 31, without exception the staff were friendly, efficient and made our party something special. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious. Thanks to Jess and Naomi who helped organise and set everything up, I Would totally recommend this pub to anyone.
Absolutely fantastic family run friendly pub the food is fantastic call rate it highly enough.
Fantastic place to visit for food and drinks. Exceptional food and quality local produce. Friendly staff and lovely location. Caters for gluten-free and plenty of free parking. We really enjoyed ourselves and had 3 courses it was that good! It has a lovely shop too!
On visiting The White Horse it was nice to take a photo of the white horse outside. Having Drinks and Crisps to just sit inside and relax was nice. The Bar Staff Seemed friendly. I Liked how there was a Gift Shop there. All round very nice. I would visit again.
Amazing place, amazing food and service we had 3 courses it was that tasty, they catered for gluten-free really well. Definitely going back! Plus, they have a little shop too!
The atmosphere of The White Horse is inviting and comfortable, with a mix of traditional and modern decor. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure that customers have a pleasant dining experience.
One of the standout features of The White Horse is their menu. They offer a variety of dishes, with something to suit every taste.
My go to favourites are their Burgers, Fish and Chips and their delicious Sunday roast.
The prices at The White Horse are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the level of service. It is definitely a great value for money option, making it an ideal choice for families.
Overall, The White Horse is a great place to eat with the family. It offers a welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, and friendly service. It's easy to see why it's a popular choice for locals and visitors alike. If you're looking for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience, then The White Horse is definitely worth a visit.
Really enjoyable Friday lunch at the White Horse. We were lucky to get a table as hadn't booked and must pass our thanks to the gentlemen who was just finishing up and vacated his table.
This set the tone for lunch: friendly clientele; friendly staff; prompt service; very quick turn round on food; delicious food; accompanied by lovely drinks, Flower Pots Perridge in my case.
Would recommend a visit, but check what's on and consider booking to avoid being disappointed.
They have a good sized car park to the rear as well as spaces out front. Nice size garden with plenty of seating and some cabins out front for more private outdoor dining.
Check out their app for ordering and paying, it also has special offers.

Starting with the positives:
Lovely atmosphere, with a little gift shop and other lovely locally produced items to buy around the pub. The staff were young but helpful.
The children's menu was reasonably priced (£7 for a main course) and a good portion size. Our daughter really enjoyed it.
The courgette fritters were delicious but a small portion, seemed like a large starter for £17. The children's menu option was bigger! This could easily be rectified by adding some rice or quinoa with it.
The 'crispy' chicken salad was not crispy, instead the chicken was shredded throughout and my partner said he did not really enjoy it. Also £17.
Seemed expensive for what it is but if you sign up to their app you get 10% off which helps. A meal for 2 adults and 1 child came to £60 including a top
Tried out this venue for breakfast and not disappointed.
Service was good and food very tasty with many ingredients locally sourced.
Decor was homely and well presented with even a small gift area at the entrance.
Lots of outdoor seating, lots of parking and a children’s play area. A great place for brunch.
Really lovely food and great service with friendly staff. A really lovely setting.
We just went for drinks. There’s a lovely small shop with gift ideas. We went in the afternoon. It’s part of a small chain which do rewards on their app. You need to know your table number but unfortunately there are none so you have to ask then order through the app and the rewards upload automatically. % off the bill
It’s nice and chilled
Saved the day when another establishment let us down. They took a party of 7 in at last minute notice on a Monday night. Lovely servers and accurate orders taken and delivered. Majority of party really enjoyed their food but I would avoid the crab linguine. Puddings good value and tasty. Fish and chips and ale pie looked like best food choices.
