Went here on a recommendation from friends and loved it. The restaurant is decorated in a really fun way, which adds to the atmosphere and feeling of the place.
We loved the food, especially the Mac and cheese and the pear dessert, definitely top tier and worth the five stars.
Smashing place to go, went with my mother after a paddle down the river, food is amazing and the place looks great inside and out. Staff were very friendly
Lovely atmosphere, quick service and good food. Will definitely eat here again but will stop at just a main and a side dish for 2 people as the portions were big.
My only complaint is lack of seasoning on the mains and a medium rare steak served rare.
Starter was awesome and I should have stopped there as it was filling enough.
Excellent Restaurant, my partner and I had dinner last Saturday and were extremely pleased with the food and service. All topped with a lively atmosphere and great selection of beer. Would recommend to anyone and we'll definitely be back!
First time we’ve eaten here. We were looking for lunch on our drive and this place came up on our search.

Lovely little spot away from the rat race, even when the weather is overcast. For a sunny day, lunching by the waterside would be glorious. Not the widest choice of food (a few more 'light bit' sandwich and/or cake options would be good) but everything sounds, looks and tastes great.
Paddled all the way here to get some food and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Unfortunately you cannot tie your paddle boards here anymore but you can find a way around it. We did not book and they sat us at a table as quickly as we arrived. The service was top notch and the set menus are delicious. Will be returning here no doubt.
An enjoyable evening meal with family. Food was of good quality and nicely presented. The inclusion of a free side in the price of each mains made this a very reasonable place to eat. My hoppy and hazy beer was superb. Plates were good sized and a few had leftovers! Cod was especially nice and chicken Caesar gets a recommendation too. Lively atmosphere. Overall a great value for money evening.
My wife and kids came here in a Monday night. The atmosphere is fun and light with just enough fun stuff in the decor to be entertaining and not cluttered. Our waitress, Daisy, was absolutely amazing, the bar brought out excellent drinks and the food is top dollar. I like the simple daily menus and the food here came out hot and fresh.
At least 5 stars, this was a welcoming, stylish, busy brewery tap cum kitchen with super, attentive, friendly staff who allowed us 12 a 4+ hour lunch without a murmur. Bar steward gave me a great take on the wonderful house bitter named "Release the Chimps" ( I kid you not! ). Very reasonably priced at £30 per head including 2 to 3 course lunch, several drinks each, cheerful service not faced by our many and varied individual choices. Extremely generous portion size. My scallop starter as a main dish and a side of Mac n cheese was tip top and all eaten with great pleasure. Loos superb. Car parking free, safe and easy to access. Yard area included excellent NVBrewery, terrific Amps wine shop and reputedly a v fine bakery too. So a real destination and one we shall return to more than once I suspect!
